It sickens me because I've always had a strong distaste for white nationalists. I grew up around them. I was threatened by them more than once. I run into their ilk often when visiting my family. Not to mention the fact that the MSC is considered something of a sacred space at A&M -- you aren't even allowed to wear your hat inside -- and it holds a special place in the hearts of all alums. There is a special kind of irony that comes with a neonazi being invited to speak in a building that was constructed to commemorate the sacrifices of soldiers, including those who fought the Nazis to begin with. Still, as I said, I'm glad he came to speak and that my fellow Ags saw it as an opportunity to fight speech with speech. Good bull.
Yep. We protested the Westboro Baptist Church when they came through as well. It is a highly conservative campus, but most Ags seem to value civility more than they value their political leanings.

Don't mistake what I say for support fir their position. I don't really see anything wrong with affording him the oppertunity to speak. I don't have the connections to A&M as I'm not am alumni. But i look at it this way. If you give them enough rope they'll hang themselves. This crap only sells because it's controversial. I had never heard of this Spencer character, at least not until the election result. I'm a little confused as to why the media started giving him attention. I assume he truly is racist based on the reactions of A&M Students. (i am familiar with the school. As my father is an alum and i live in Texas and not beneath a rock. ) If that is the case what is the motive for pointing cameras on these people? As I understand it this group is tiny and a threat to nothing.

Well... not exactly. If you have been born there you are US citizen, so that's that. But the problem is that there is a massive flow of migrants streaming into the US and if it will keep going, the whites will become a minority in their own country. And that is when (*)(*)(*)(*) will hit the fan, because one can only hope that the 'new majority' will be just as nice to the whites as they were for them. But that most likely won't be the case. When whites become a minority they will become a hated and persecuted group without any control over the outcome over their nation, as they don't have the majority in votes no more. And then the US will rapidly fall from 1st to 3rd world status, just like it happened in South-Africa when the whites gave control away over their nation.
