I used to see this all the time, something you or your kids may never see

    This was done in Canada. When I was a lad, Dad moved us to Roseville, CA. Now, today you would not know it but once Roseville was the major hub of trains crossing the Sierra Nevada. It had a large roundhouse (now gone) and serviced the train we called, incorrectly, as Malley's. They were actually a Baldwin Cab Forward.

    These Cab forwards were giants. I think some locomotives were actually larger, but they too were giants.

    However check out this steam locomotive in Canada.
