    I'm not a new member but I'm returning after an extended absence and I'm happy to be back.

    I'm a Republican moderate and in the last election I voted for Clinton as the lesser of two evils.

    I'm looking forward to having some civil and interesting discussions with you all.

    lol. Let me show you the gist of PF.

    I post a link from Washington Post or New York Times. 4 or 5 Trump groupies jump on my source as being fake news. We argue back and forth about whether it's fake or not. That's as far as it goes. Or they throw Clinton in my face to distract from the thread. Or they post a thread and their source is Infowars and Breitbart. And of course this is legitimate news because if it isn't mainstream media then it has to be real.

    Still wanna stroll down the yellow brick road?

    Sure. Why not? Perhaps you didn't notice but I have well over 10,000 posts on this forum and I'm a past donor. In general, I've been treated well by the majority of members and certainly by the staff.

    Look, it's a political forum. Ever been to a (*)(*)(*)(*) fight in Tijuana or Ciudad Juarez? I have. Political forums at times can be the equivalent of a (*)(*)(*)(*) fight, just without the blood and bets. My point is, political forums are interesting, at times fun, but they're not reality so don't take them too seriously. As for me, I'd like to throw out an opinion once in awhile and keep my posts civil and accurate. I have a tendency to post supporting information from reliable sources whenever possible. If someone chooses to label my source as biased or intellectually impotent, so be it. I don't take it personally.

    Just a bit of advice. Take it or leave it as you see fit.
