Despite his critics, Trump continues to make progress in the face of liberal defeatism. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2017/01/10/mexico-negotiate-donald-trump/96391448/
Mexico appears a lot less reluctant than we've been led to believe ... Mexicos foreign relations secretary says he wants to begin negotiations "as soon as possible" ... I wonder when Vincente Fox will offer us his insights on these recent developments? :wall: "If you build it ... they will pay for it".

Talk about lying media! (Right Wing media,,

How does a statement "Mexico's foreign relations secretary says the country wants to negotiate changes to the North American Free Trade Agreement as soon as possible." somehow even been imply that Mexico is going to "pay for building Trump's wall!"

If you read the article, Mexicos el presidente Pena, maintains he will not pay. I say he's already conceded. I think some provision in NAFTA 2.0 will net the US $10bn ... which will pay for the wall without embarrassing Pena.

it's pretty simple import tariffs, stopping of any foreign aid. Renegotiation of NAFTA. They will pay one way or the other

Canada and Mexico both agreed but if Trump wants to rip us off we aren't going along with that. If the agreement isn't in our best interests we ourselves will rip it up

Just recently Ford, and Chrysler-Fiat announced that they would be investing in America with projects originally slated for Mexico, or already there. Mexico isn't stupid. It's already paying.

Canadians are fine with NAFTA as is but if it looks like the new deal isn't good than there is no deal.

I would howl with laughter if the US was to adopt Mexico's border policies (the ones they have for their southern border, not their northern one).

And like I've said before, it doesn't even take an actual physical wall, just a proactive deportation policy.

Americans aren't and as you inadvertently admitted, its good enough reasons to rip it up. You said you would.

Mexico will pay. What form that payment takes is in the details, but Mexico will pay.

Thank-you. Don't know why some folks have a problem recognizing this.

Bill Mexico for every deportation and every penny spent incarcerating them, educating them, and fixing their boo-boos.

Actually that is not true because those plans were initially announced a year and a half ago. But keep twisting the facts if it makes you feel good.

Mexico is in no position to refuse anything the US wants. They will do as told.

The American tax payers, you know, the 55% who actually pay federal income taxes through the U.S. government give away $45 billion dollars (free stuff) to other countries most of them who hate America with foreign aid every year.

The open borders leftist claim that the Trump Wall will cost $15 to $25 billion dollars.

Just think what kind of Trump Wall we could build for $45 billion dollars ? It would be a yuuuge wall, a really really big wall that it would make the chi-coms blush.

The Trump Wall would become a tourist attraction just like the chi-coms Great Wall of China.

The chi-coms charge $30. per person to tour the Great Wall of China. America can do like wise.

So you stop all foreign aid for one year and the Trump Wall is bought and paid for and America gets it's secured borders and a tourist attraction as a big bonus.

I'm just repeating what my government officials have said. If US wants more than what they already have and we get less its no deal. But if Mexico and Canada team up against Trump and make him look like a weak man we could possibly do some damage. We've already met with Mexico a few times to work out a strategy. We even announced on the same day our intentions to renegotiate.
