Thread: Obama's Farwell Address

No they haven't, and the typical leftist probably never will comprehend that salient fact about the man that they worshiped to the extent that they absolutely refused to do any meaningful vetting of him before making him president. Where Barack Obama is concerned leftists lack the critical 'rationality' gene.

But that aside, what's interesting about Barack Obama's farewell speech is that today after using an aggregate news service that offers me a spread of Right, Center, and Leftist perspectives on most things, only one site out of several dozen even bothered to address Obama's speech. It was as if the leftist mouth that roared, ended up roaring alone last night after eight straight years worth of overt worship by the Mainstream Media. He's now OLD NEWS. Sweet!

And no, just because I am a Democrat does not mean I'm rooting for Trump to fail. Truthfully, I do not think he will really be better OR worse than any of the presidents we have had in recent history. I'm taking a wait-and-see approach until either he does something really good, or really bad.

Are politics really war? If they are, then things are only going to get worse, MUCH worse. Especially if the posts of many on these forums (both Democrat and Republican, Liberal and Conservative) are any indication.
If there was going to be actual fighting and shooting and rioting---it's always going to be the Liberals starting it---and the Liberals will not stray far from their "criminal sanctuary cities." So if you don't live close to one---don't worry so much---for now.

I don't know how you can submit yourself to such torture. I put Obama on Permanent Ignore over a year ago.
    Sweet schadenfreude...

Raw hatred says more about those who hate than thise who the hater hates.
I don't hate Obama but I hate what he has done to America and am elated he's gone and his failed policies are gone with him.

75 month of job growth. A record. In the history of job growth.

Edit - 8 yrs later. W bush, still the worst in history. Set USA back, well, 8 yrs. Record job growth and no new wars killing our young men and women for daddy.
75 months of 2% or less economic growth, that's some record

But I'm sure the table he will leave behind is not as messy compared when Bush did the same before.

No, the mess obama leaves behind is 100 times worse.......

Trump has his work cut out for him.

You know what though, I bet Trump won't whine about all the problems obama left.

Trump will just fix them because that's the kind of man he is.

obama was a community organizer with no real world experience other

    than stirring race relations up.

A statement about "liberals and conservatives must continue to have dialogues and be willing to listen to one another," would have sufficed, because we know from most college campuses to the Breitbart comment section, things tend to get hive-minded at times.

I also found it disturbing he said we haven't had a foreign attack on our soil. A very arguable point to say the least considering the various terrorist attacks(Boston, Fort Hood, San Bernardino), but it was obvious he was trying to keep things positive.

obama always lies when it comes to muslims.

Plain to see for all with eyes.

Yup, let's move forward and we will see how Trump deals with the issues at hand.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

Did he made official policies for that?
