FBI Director: No Evidence That Donald Trump Or RNC Were Successfully Hacked

Russian intelligence services, accused of orchestrating a hacking campaign to undermine the U.S. presidential election, did not successfully collect information from President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign or the Republican National Committee’s current server, FBI Director James Comey said Tuesday.

While Russian hackers gained “limited penetration of old RNC” computer systems “that were no longer in use,” the FBI found no evidence that the Trump campaign or current RNC servers were hacked, Comey said.

 

Let's say it together: Both parties were hacked.

So why wasn't the dirt on the Republican side leaked? What does Putin have locked up in his man-sized safe for later use? Maybe he's using it now which is why we're going to have a Trump cabinet stocked full of russophiles...

I hope that the GOP "patriots" of the House will look into Donald Trump's tax returns and ask why they are sealed from the public's view.

Don't you find the idea that the Russians easily hacked the DNC servers but didn't hack incompetently maintained and virtually unsecured Hillary's servers with all those classified state secrets on them a tad unrealistic?

 

DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile said in a statement that Comey’s revelation “offers further confirmation that the Russians selectively leaked information specifically to aid Trump and hurt Democrats.”

How? Comey stated that they tried to access the RNC information, but couldn't. How could the 'Russians' selectively release information that according to our own intelligence people, they didn't have? This is more irresponsible crying, from America's worst political party.

 

Why didn't the Russians release them so they could help their puppet like they did with the DNC emails?

 

Technically there is no proof the DNC was successfully hacked either.

They released the DNC information damaging to Hillary, they retained classified national secrets stolen from Hillary's servers and damaging to the country for other [quite obvious] purposes.

 

Nothing was released. Nothing at all. Zip, zilch, nada.

If you believe that Russia hacked the RNC, and they did, but didn't find anything, then you aren't very familiar with American politics.

The actual intelligence agencies don't get to investigate the DNC hardware and so have to rely on a pay-for-attribution DNC contractors "evidence" that "something something the Russians".

Funny I watched the Tillerson hearing this morning.

Do you know what I learned about Tillerson?

Basically nothing.

Why?

Because all these Senators wanted to do was recite the same tired boring conspiracy theories about Russia over and over and over and over again - every single one of them saying the exact same thing.

They weren't even asking questions most of the time they were just reading statements.

And then they did the exact same thing when ti came to "climate change" another area where conspiracy theories reign supreme.

One Senator, cant remember who, literally say there for 6 straight minutes reading some nonsense about climate change.

He didn't even have a question!

He was just reading his memo because he had a captive audience that couldn't tell him to shut the **** up.

That entire hearing was 90% Russia, 8% enviro-wackoism, 1% Tillerson's opening statement, with the remaining 1% being made up of questions and pauses while belligerent protesters were slow walked out of the room while being given plenty of time to yell.

Which makes me wonder how the hell so many protesters even got in with their huge signs, slogan adorned t-shirts, and even a few KKK costumes (Sessions).

I'm guessing they were specifically allowed in, if not also invited to protest.

 

You assume that the rnc is as corrupt as the dnc firstly, and there was dirt to dump. Secondly, if the goal was to prevent a hostile Clinton from being president, it would do no good to damage whoever was on the other side. Unless of course it was a McCain or a Graham...

The FBI in fact did find that accounts on the server had been breached.

What the FBI couldn't find was the origin of said breach.

I don't care what Russians are doing, Trump was elected by the American people for reason important to the American people, in fact the American people have been throwing the libs and progs and dems out of all public offices all across the country for years, long before this liberal temper tantrum on Russia had started.

Just because the DNC is rotten to the core doesn't mean the RNC is.

We know this because the DNC wasn't going to allow the American voter to nominate Sanders. The DNC process was pure theater.

On the other hand, the RNC allowed the American people to choose their own candidate, even though many in the RNC couldn't stand the idea of Trump as the nominee.

Thats pretty much all you need to realize.

Of course, the RNC also allowed the FBI to evaluate their servers and security. The DNC did not. Now we know why.
