What I have been saying since election night----now,finally a elected Representative has the cahones to come out & say what millions of us American's have been thinking---
trump has had since election day to dispel all our fears about him getting elected, his Russian involvement,but what has he done,taken the side of Russia over the United States intelligence & continues to do so, he has made some cabinet picks that further our fears instead of dispel them
Don't know where this will all lead, but,I will say this, unless trump can dispel these fears, it will only get worse & people will keep digging----

 

So predictable. Dems are trying to come to grips with their massive loss....hahaha!

 

This is going to be an entertaining 4 years, and if more Democrats adopt this idea, it's be 8.

Liberals/progressives/socialists such as John Lewis, instead of being tossed out on his ear by moderates in the party – along with other old, out of date extremists such as Nancy Pelosi – are instead celebrated.

Instead of younger, more moderate party leaders, the Democrats will continue being exploited by their elderly fringe. This is why Democrats have become a regional political party, strong along the coasts but shunned by normal Americans across the rest of the nation.

Fringe political figures such as Lewis, Maxine Waters of California, Keith Ellison of Minnesota, the socialist Bernie Sanders and others have become the face of the Democratic Party. This is great news for Republicans. As recent votes have shown in 2010, 2014 and last year, normal Americans do not want a fringe, regional party in control of the federal government.

The Democrats have lost over a thousand seats nationwide since 2008; this will continue until a more moderate liberal faction takes control of the party from its old baby boomer leftists. Here's wishing a long, healthy life for these clowns!

In my world John Lewis is an icon, a living legend - a genuine American hero. I've seen the clip of him with Chuck Todd, it was revealing and somber. The man is the conscience of the Congress so I'll need some time to digest what this is (and see the whole interview on Sunday). In a way I can understand the turmoil that must be inside this man. Lewis is obviously a huge backer & fan of President Obama and the thought that Obama could be replaced by a man who questioned Obama's legitimacy is a bit much perhaps - not withstanding the effect on the Clinton campaign by the Russians and the disgraceful actions (and lack of) of Director of FBI Comey. All this while Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III is the candidate for AG. It's a lot for a civil rights icon to absorb.....

BTW, I don't know if "conscience of the Congress" would be a particularly complimentary attribution given their track record over the past 80 years.
