I vote for Putin. Apparently he's done more for world peace and freedom in general by somehow hacking our election and stopping the Gazis (global socialist) in their tracks.
Why not give himself a medal? During the election he all but declared himself some kind of Socialist-lite demi-god, and since the election he and his goon squad have labored tirelessly making up one fantasy after another in a bald attempt to explain that somehow Trump stole the election -- and NOT that radical Democrats lost it because normal, working American taxpayers had become SICK TO DEATH of all his corruption, lies, and wonderous "legacy".... But, hey, given the way his narcissistic mind has always worked, if he had a medal to put around his neck, he could make himself feel better. I can agree with half of that sentiment... I'd dearly love to see something put around his neck for the wreckage he has made out of the United States of America for the last eight (*)(*)(*)(*)ing years!

I think the first requirement for any such Obama Award is to be a Democrat who likes Obama. Being an important person is another, like being a Hollywood Industry Celebrity like Yo Yo Ma (like whoever that is). Or being more of a politically-correct person, than really an award-worthy person.
