Hi I am brand new to the forums, I really want to see if a poem can get an unsolved crime talked about again. Living in a small place I figure if this gets enough views then the local paper may bring the story to attention again. a man was murdered in 1949 just because he was gay, his killers have never been caught and its almost as if its forgotten about or just viewed as a spooky story. Doesn't matter how long ago something happened, everybody deserves justice, hopefully this can play it's tiny part https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsuTdMpqt-w just a simple view, even if you don't 'like' it THANK YOU if you could share it then that would be amazing
Welcome. Nice thought, but there are a whole lot of unsolved murder cases. One from 1949 probably wouldn't take precedence unless some type of new evidence is presented.
I like solving mysteries, in fact I think I've just cracked the 58-yr-old 'Dyatlov Pass' mystery, but I'm not much good doing it by listening to poetry, so maybe if you could tell us what murder you're referring to, we can google around and try to come up with a solution..
Mebbe do an epic poem... ... kinda like the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald... ... if ya turn it into a song like Gordon Lightfoot did... ... ya might make a buncha money... ... another good example is Pirates by Emerson, Lake and Palmer... ... or Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull... ... or Court of the Crimson King, by King Crimson... ... or All Along the Watch Tower by Bob Dylan... ... or Voodoo Chile by Jimi Hendrix.
