    The actual quote is:

"Many black people who become police officers become blue, not black,” the local organization said Tuesday. “In order for you to survive in a police department, you take on the police department’s ideology, ways of life, and culture.”

Because you cant be both police and black right?

They honestly believe that colored people are under fire from the police. Statistics still prove them wrong when viewed in totality. But that doesn't stop them from purposefully misusing them to further an objectively false narrative.

And that is very true. It goes for anyone in the police who is not white, Anglo-Saxon male, the dominant type in the police culture. You learn to fit in or you leave.

It's leftist propaganda to deflect the real problem of a failure of democrat policies in big cities run by democrats with high crime rates and out of control gang activity.

    This.

There is no "white male culture" in police force.

There is a "protect ones self and each other culture" in the police force.

    More racist drivel against whites.

So you admit that blacks who join the police are different from other blacks. Thanks for proving the NAACP right.

Literally did not say that at all.

But the ignorant tend to see what they want to see, instead of what's actually being said. Not surprised.

It's fascinating to watch the left continually try to frame every discussion instead of honestly debating an issue.

Huh? So it is your opinion that white police are mavericks while black police are conformists?

Sounds like people (NAACP) are making judgments about something they know nothing about. Doesn't that situation exist in pretty much EVERY workplace? You either try to fit in -- and work together -- or you remain an outsider (or leave).

So are YOU admitting that blacks don't like to protect themselves and their culture?

But, Barack Obama is a real black person? How about black Democrat politicians? Rep. Lewis, Rep. Waters? Real black people? Rep. Charlie Rangel? Real black person?

Sadly, the NAACP is not interested in advancement of anyone but themselves. Next we'll hear that Rachel Dolezal isn't really a black woman but Sen. Warren is really an Indian and Barack Obama is really a black man.

You literally said cops have their own culture. Ergo, Blacks who become cops are different from other Blacks. The one follows from the other. One does not have to literally say a thing to get one's point across. But then the hard of thinking tend to expect everyone to stop thinking as well.

Actually I was making a point to Eyeswideopen about what he was actually saying with his post.

Who said Blacks don't like to protect themselves or their culture? What do you think the NAACP (the source of the quote in the OP) is all about?

Only from an excessively literal view. The fact of the matter is that you implied that every cop had the same culture. Said culture would differ from Black culture. QED.

I don't believe there is a black culture. I believe there is a black ghetto culture.

You know this due to your personal experience, right?

I volunteer for a police department on a weekly basis. I work around cops all the time. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Every work place has a different culture. So no, black cops are not different from any other black person, outside of the work place. You are still objectively wrong.

So you admit they are different on the job. That means they are different. Amigo, it is you who are objectively wrong. Try to keep up.

Negative. Acting different and being different are 2 different things. You are still objectively wrong.

I am objectively correct. Because you lack the ability to comprehend the different between acting and being, does not make the difference any less prevalent.

    You are simply wrong.

I'm very glad for you not to have any idea of what I'm talking about. I had 40 years in the job and saw plenty of it.
