John Lewis is a Congressman and he won his seat running on the Democratic Party ticket. Larry Craig a Republican Congressman used drugs and and allegedly had sex with male prostitutes. John Lewis does not represent all Democrats any more than did Larry Craig Congressman to the makes prostitures represented all Republicans.
Yet the antics that are supposed to happen during the inauguration are entirely inspired by the democratic party with democrats sitting out the inauguration. Do you hear any democrat saying there should be no demonstrations?
During the country's worse economic downturn since the Great Depression, Obama's inauguration cost between $150-170 MILLION. It was the most expensive in history, but befitting the "messiah." Gaudy much? And they never stopped spending after that... The middle class elected him and this is a celebration of that, with or without the Democrats, but they won't be forgotten at election time...
Of course not they love it . Liberals whine about cops sticking together , yet they would never step out of line and call a fellow Democrat out .
I would simply like to point out that if any GOP member decided to call Obama illegitimate and sit out the inauguration the dems would have flooded every news outlet in the world with cries of racism. Of course that cant possibly be true with the black dems not going to the white guys. Can anyone name anything significant Lewis has done since the 60's? Hes a relic living on what he did 50 years ago.
I would simply like to point out that members of the GOP did sit out on Obama's inauguration, and there were no thin-skinned cries of "bullying" or "scuttling." As for people calling his win illegitimate, have people already forgotten about ACORN and the birthers?
