Leo Ferrari was a founding member and head of the satirical Flat Earth Society of Canada, later renamed the Flat Earth Society (FES).

In Ferrari's writings in support of the FES and the Flat Earth, he attributed everything from gender to racial inequality on the globularist and the Spherical Earth model.

Ferrari even claimed to have nearly fallen off "the Edge" of the Earth at Brimstone Head on Fogo Island.[6]Ferrari was a key figure in the 1990 flat earth "documentary", In Search of the Edge.

In the accompanying study guide, Ferrari is outed as a "globularist," someone who believes the earth is spherical.[8] The intent of the film was to promote critical thinking about media by "[attempting] to prove in convincing fashion, something everyone knew to be false."

The flat earth society is in disagreement with most of the flat earth community, pertaining to the flat earth and so called "edge". I understand how you would think this massive movement if you will, would come from FES. Yet it did not.

For the FES was founded in the 1950's.

Right.. She disappeared driving her snowmobile across Antarctica in 1961.. They found the snowmobile .. It had run out of gas.. She left a note saying she had been to the edge and a camera.. But, the film was accidently exposed.

Did you notice the bridge that was built with the earth's alleged curvature, and how the bridge was slightly curved, yet the water under it was perfectly flat?

There is zero evidence supporting the claim that there is an ice wall and tons of evidence that instead there is a round Earth with an icy continent at its southern pole.

I noticed you usually clam up when it ask this question: how am I able to see the International Space Station through my telescope if the Earth is flat and nothing can go to orbit?

What....ISS? Do you mean high altitude UAV's?

There is no space station, unless you believe George Clooney and Sandra Bullock actually filmed "Gravity", in space. It's all done with a green screen, and what you see in your telescope is far from the ISS, rather a UAV, which is an "Unmanned Aerial Vehicle". Or you could think of it as a gigantic remote control aerial vehicle.

No, I mean the International Space Station, which on nights when its in the right position I can see it with my own telescope. No photoshop. Nothing digital. Lens and mirrors.

And considering its the size of a couple football fields and in no way aerodynamic, its not any kind of UAV.

 

If the Earth is flat why are there mountains?
