What we are witnessing here is the continuing evolution, refinement and on-going adaptation of a modern myth (done in this case just to sell a book for profit). He does an incredible job of presenting the evidence! He writes like he is an attorney presenting this argument to a judge! He dots his Is and crosses every T! Now, my response to people who do not believe in the Bible prophecies or the scientific data about the Planet X and Wormwood system: You should read ancient history and study geology, or visit your local natural science museum. Through investigative science, you will learn that major asteroids and comets were responsible for the catastrophic events in the past centuries and millennia. Youll find out the North Pole used to be, in all places, located in the middle of the state of Arizona! We live on a cataclysmic planet. There is no hiding this incoming solar system any longer! It consists of a dark star, smaller than our sun, which hosts seven orbiting bodies, some smaller than our moon and a couple of them larger than our Earth. The dark star is called Nemesis or Planet X. The blue planet is called the Blue Kachina. The planet that is larger than Earth that is orbiting the dark star is called Nibiru. It is also known as The Planet of the Crossing and the Destroyer. There is another object some refer to it as Helion. This system is, of course, not aligned with our solar systems ecliptic, but is coming to us from an oblique angle and toward our South Pole. This makes observations difficult, unless youre flying at a high altitude over South America with an excellent camera. As it intertwines and approaches it, will come from our south and loop all the way to the extreme north, then come back south again as it exits our orbital path. The evidence to support this is overwhelming. There are 40 volcanoes erupting at the same time on Earth now. Earthquakes have dramatically increased both in number and intensity. The Elite are frantically building underground safety bunkers. The public is being kept in the dark deliberately to avoid panic. Storm systems are multiplying both in type, intensity and size. Sinkholes and cracks are appearing in the earths crust. Heatwaves are getting stronger and are lasting longer. Im just waiting for the fat lady to sing! ************** You can see how the total bunk of Zecharia Sitchin and others can be adapted, updated and built upon to craft a new, more relevant mythology to sell (whether figuratively or, in fact, for money) to a gullible audience. I got a laugh out of this author's talk about an entire star system that is erroneously claimed to exist and to be on its way for a 2017 encounter with Earth. Nibiru has been turned into one planet in orbit around another mythical body he labels Nemesis or Planet X. Never mind, you people who thought Planet X was synonymous with Nibiru! This guy says one orbits the other, and is one of several bodies orbiting that one, too. I really got a kick out of the name he gave this imaginary system, too - the "Wormwood system"!! Brilliant. He ties this Nibiru/Planet X hysteria in with the Bible, that venerable bastion of paranoid fear and delusion, quite beautifully just by that action alone (you'll recall that "wormwood" is mentioned as the name of a falling star or some such thing in Apocalypse as something predicted to poison a third of the waters and cause a lot of death). The author claims there is scientific evidence for this, but of course you can rest assured that this is nonsense. Otherwise he could submit this alleged evidence for peer review and get published in scientific literature. Instead, he does what every other BSer, such as your average biblical creationist author, does - publishes and appeals directly to the public, where he need only worry about the opinions of unskeptical readers and the occasional bemused skeptical reader and reviewer. The latter will naturally be drowned out by the former. The author also claims, and this is some real bunkum here, that his imaginary star system "is coming to us from an oblique angle and toward our South Pole. This makes observations difficult, unless youre flying at a high altitude over South America with an excellent camera." I have to laugh at that bit about flying over South America with "an excellent camera" in particular. Like this: A reader would have to be pretty uneducated and just plain gullible to accept that at face value, but then that is exactly what a good number of people will do, mainly because they are predisposed to believing in this thing. They're like the gold bugs who see an economic collapse coming any day now, any week, any month now. They just know that it's going to happen, and they feel so smart and special for being among that special crowd who know of this impending doom. I think that is part of why people choose to think and believe this way, deep down. His "overwhelming" evidence appears to consist of *ahem* volcanoes and earthquakes, and "elites" allegedly building bunkers. Yeah. Good God.
