I would first like to give my answer to that question with another question:

"Did Boris Yeltsin face a coup d'eta when he took office?"

Here are Putin's words about the topic:

You're not helping Trump when you quote Putin.

May I ask what makes you think me giving a single flying human excretion to anything that helps Trump?

Many people think that Putin's comments about Trump are his way of letting DT know that Putin has his hooks into Trump.

If I recall correctly, Yeltsin did face some sort of coup d'état back in 1991...

There will be no coup in America. Democrats may not want to share power and they may be threatening our democracy, to use Hillary Clinton's words, but they wouldn't dare seize power.

What worries me more is the mass hysteria on the Left. I fully expect some Leftist idiot to try and assassinate Trump.

It is my fervant hope that no one interferes with the peaceful transition of power between the Obama Administration and the Trump Administration. On 20 January 2017 the presidency will be transferred to President Trump (forgive me if I puke in my mouth).

It will then become President Trumps responsibility to protect and defend the United States and its citizens. Never forget that he asked for this job. Now it's time to deliver on his grandios promises to "Make America Great Again." Frankly, I can't recall when the United States wasn't great.

I am seriously concerned about President Trumps past and present behaviors. He's cheated on his wives, made sexually suggestive comments about his daughter, he's made light of a NYT reporter's disability, he claims that any anti-Trump news is "fake news," he villifies women who disagree with or challenge him in the crudest terms, he won't release his tax returns. I could go on, but what's the point.

Trump will likely be the worst President that this country has ever elected. A sellout to his Russian pal "Mad Vlad" Putin.

Fortunately, as it has been suggested, once Trump's self serving screwups come to light, he'll either pull a Sarah Palin and abdicate or face impeachment.

    Regards,

    Jason Bourne

The last coup here which failed occurred against FDR who was taking on the elite robber barons of that era, but Gen. S. Butler busted them out. It was to be a bloodless coup, but a coup nonetheless. The same faction apparently feel threatened by trump, i.e. their very powerful influence may be reeled back, and they do not like it. Of course their influence permeates the entire elected portion of our gov't now, including the CIA who have basically done their bidding since its inception, as laid out in the book, The Dulles Brothers.

When our intel involved itself in politics, against trump, this is of course an indication, and a bothersome implication. The MSM blackout which most people are just ignoring in regards to ambassador murray, who said he knows the insider in DC who leaked the emails to wilkileaks is just another dot that needs to be connected by the patriotic, serious Americans, which is not to be found in the partisan Hillary or failed democratic party. They are complicit in this, and are probably too disconnected to see the big picture, if they would even care, which I highly doubt.

So is a coup possible? Sure, and IMO it is slowly playing out as we speak. Of course the retired CIA men who are voicing this, are also in a MSM blackout. Convenient. But why the potential coup? Well, if you read the Princeton Study, you would understand what is being challenged here by trump. But MSM blacked out that study as well, so the information most people get from our media has made them utterly ignorant of their actual reality.

In regards to what Putin said about Ukraine, our involvement, via the CIA an others, NGOs. of course we were involved. The phone conversation Nuland had with our ambassador there is some of the evidence for that. We were already choosing who would replace the duly elected leader of Ukraine. Putin knows this. Only our American fools are oblivious to it, if they even care about what their nation does in their name.

Hopefully in the end the People will prevail over this oligarchy which both parties have worked hard to give us. This exhibits the power of wealth upon gov't, and that isn't new. And trump must not be one of these elites, and that is a threat to their power. JFK was the last to challenge these men, so trump if he does, is not safe from the sociopaths who actually runs this nation, the shadow gov't as some have called it, the deep state. But it essence it is only a group of rich and powerful families who use the gov't to max out and to keep their great inherited wealth. They operate in their own self interests and FDR reined them back in, but they bided their time until they could be unleashed again, in their full glory. But their self interests is now counter to the interests and general welfare of the people, and in fact is hollowing out America.

You will never understand our reality until you educate yourself with at least two factual books. Gen. Butler and John Perkins. Only then will you know what is going on. Then the incoherence makes sense. Trump apparently got the message from our rulers, and gave them the middle finger. He is naïve to these people, thinking he can work for the people over these elite and very old rich families. And they are more powerful now than what FDR faced when he took them on. And vastly more dangerous.

What's happening Talon? Long time no see... What happened to the Obama wearing Russian hat?

Actually the 1991 coup was against "Gorbachev". Yeltsin was not even arrested by the gang of 8. He started immediately use the attempt in his favor.

The Soros and neo con backed DNC had been trying for a coup, and one of the attempts was to cancel the inauguration by accusing Russia of blackmailing Trump... but they didn't get the support of the American people as they had hoped. Someone told NBC they will be coming out with another revelation right before the inauguration. No doubt that one too will be carrying the 'made in Ukraine' label as well.

Roger Stone a friend and staunch political supporter of Trump was poisoned around Christmas with polonium... but he survived. Seems the dosage wasn't strong enough, although it made him deathly sick. Was it a message to Donald Trump and his supporters by the Soros/Clinton/Obama group? Who knows?

I would like the post much better if I could locate the like button anywhere around it.(edit: I found it) Anyways, I'd like to be shared with that Princeton Study if you wouldn't mind. I'm into stuff like that. I read John Perkins' confessions of an economic hitman if that's what you referred to. Please correct me if I'm wrong; I understand that you're not against the assumption that today's political conjunture is being shaped particularly by two global cliques, one of whom Kissenger described as "nostalgia lovers" in his book called World Order, in other words; the Eurasianists, or unitary nation state supporters, and the good ole "one worlder Globalists".

Stop threatening our democracy or Hillary Clinton will give you a stern lecture. :)

FYI, we're laughing at your Current Truth™, FreshAir. We don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about the Left's lame excuses because we don't have to.

Bad candidates, bad ideas, bad policies and bad politics have been costing Democrats elections since Obama first came to power in 2008.

Democrats would do well to listen up. The electorate sent them the same message they sent Republicans eight years ago, and if they keep sticking their fingers in their ears they're going to spend more than 2 years on their camping trip in the political wilderness.

You need to work on some original material.

Would that be the same wall that Barack and Hillary tried to tear down with their little misspelled plastic Reset button?

LOL - You've got a really good memory, Goody. :)

I'm doing great - how are you and how are things going in Turkey?

Thanks for clearing that up for me. After 25 years my Soviet history is getting a little fuzzy.

No in 1991 the coup was against Mickey Mikey Girbashov. I think 1992 was the attack on the Russian parliament building. Boris was a nice benign drunk, a good Russian.

Is there going to be a coup?? I hope not. I want to give Trump a chance.

If there is a coup I hope the conspirators are put down like they were in Turkey.

All is well but a lot have changed. I think the reason this type of huge global shift is not gathering as big of an attention from the global audience is because the silent kick off of the WWIII. Just enjoy the rise of far right for the time being :)

By the way, very good point.
The coup of 1991 failed and officially Gorbachev won. But actually there was the only winner - Yeltsin. All the others, including the whole country, lost.

I wouldn't say "the only winner". To me the West was the actual winner. They literally robbed Russia via Yeltsin rule.
Today, the East has just made a historic comeback starting with Assad, now Trump.
They're going to need more time for waking up from that coma.

Hillary's "deplorables" comment probably helped Trump more than all of the above.

Amazing, how the alt-right follows and believes Putin, the former head of the KGB. It's perfect...Can you imagine millions of Russians believing our CIA? That would likely mean the breakup of Russia...
