Considering the blatant obstruction, even publically stated by leadership concerning Obamas policies and decisions up to and including SCOTUS choice. Do the GOP have standing to complain if Dems play the same game?
They can complain all they want, Tecoyah. But the smell of their hypocrisy will further pollute the swamp they are pretending they are "draining." I honestly hope the Dems do not play that same game...I hope they do not oppose everything simply because it is coming from the other side. I want them to contest anything that goes against their principles...but not to do what the GOP did during the Obama years. They would oppose items they championed...just because it was offered by Obama. The GOP congress of the last several years was an abomination. I hope the Dems try to steer a higher course. I sorta have the feeling that the GOP congress is going to have as much trouble with Trump as the Dems are. The guy is more than a loose cannon. He is a machine gun being fumbled in tight quarters. We are going to be luck to get out of this administration with the Republic intact!
Obama is a traitor, has already pardoned 2 traitors, and gave material assistance to terror groups by allowing several Guantanimo Bay jihadist free to further attack our armed forces. Progressive Dems are not capable of steering a higher course when they lurk at the bottom of the swamp.
Yes I had started a thread about Obama commuting the sentence of a FALN terrorist and it got deleted by the mods. No one in the news media even asked Obama about it.
Both use the same obstructionist tactics but call it standing upon principle when one does it and call it obstructionist when the other does it. One of many reasons why I am an independent.

The Republicans admitted to obstructing legislation that totally agreed with, and nominees they totally supported, simply because they were favored by Obama. That is not something the Democrats will do.
My expectation is that establishment republicans will join democrats in trying to obstruct Trump's plans.
if trump demands a 2,000 mile wall, he won't get it, if he tries to deport DACA kids, he won't get it. if he tries to start a trade war with China, he wont get it. if he tries to end all sanctions on Russia, he wont get it.
Some republicans and almost all democrats want war somewhere, anywhere, so they won't be happy unless our young people are dying somewhere, anywhere, for whatever. And Washington republicans and democrats will resist efforts that don't help their corporate owners. It's going to be interesting.
I think it's the method that is in question. Republicans didn't oppose Obama by rioting in the streets.
Congressional Democrats should wear hijabs while in Congress to show their support of the religion of Islam and the male members also showing support for transsexuals.
