White House Press Secretary Blasts Medias False Reporting

Lies, lies and more lies. What is the media trying to accomplish? I don't understand it, aren't there laws about causing civil strife, because that's what they are trying to do. Shouldn't those news outlets be shut down... or at least have their licenses revoked?

The media lied about the amount of people at the inauguration because the park services said that it has never taken count of people at any inauguration ...so how can the media give out numbers? The State Dept. by doing their own calculations reached the conclusion that this was the largest crowd ever to attend any inauguration for any president, as well as the largest world audience to ever watch an inauguration.

He is a twitchy fellow. Calling a false report about a stupid bust in the oval office is hardly reckless. It may be sloppy and pointless journalism, but so is calling it reckless pointless.

Not really, the press is free to lie just as before...They are just being called on their lies that's all. Free speech doesn't mean getting away with lying like the MSM does constantly.

You must be in some desolate place -- counting attendees or any of the shallow stuff progs dance over really doesn't mean anything. Obama, after all, was the first black president - history was being made. Certainly more came out to witness that than any other inauguration. What does that prove?

 

Oh for heaven's sake, that's a propaganda video... probably made in Ukraine. It could have been taken on any day, and the time could have been posted by anyone.

Actually Trump is going to protect it. The MSM propaganda outlets are doing their utmost to stop all the alternative news sites, so people won't have any factual presentations of events. When the American people became aware of the deceptions and lies they were being fed and it was leading them into a war with Russia, it began to sicken them. They saw that the only person with the strength and capacity to fight them was Trump. This is why we all voted for him. ..with the exception of the inner cities where the dead preferred Hillary.

 

The Park Service doesn't release crowd numbers, but they have to plan security etc for the crowds so they have a pretty good idea. The numbers are around 800,000 which is pretty good attendance.. Trump's in a snit and playing victim because he says it was 1.5 million.

 

The press secretary yesterday claimed that it was the largest attended inauguration in US history. He said this with a straight face whilst claiming 'the media' had lied about such things. The thing is, it was far from the best attended inauguration. For example, there were only half the amount of public transport trips in DC during the time of the inauguration as there were for Saturday's protest. Also the amount of bus parking permits issued for coaches from outside the city was a fraction of the permits issued for Saturday.

The inauguration was a very well attended event. Who cares if the protests on Saturday were slightly better attended? A tiny percentage of the people of DC voted for him, so it is not unsurprising that they didn't attend. Again, he got a huge crowd, why try to BS everyone that it was 'the largest inauguration in US history', which it wasn't.

If he gets this tetchy on day one about such a pedantic issue, imagine what will happen when shít gets serious. Serious international negotiators love dealing with a hot head, as they are so predictable: push this button, get this response.

Isn't there a fake news bill that Obama signed into law??? I didn't read it myself, but I got the impression that the government now has the job of calling out fake news.

Get use to it, it wasn't an attack on the first amendment and if it is then Obama signed it.

 

He looks like such an idiot when he makes a big deal of these things, if maybe brought it up once and then let the media freak out he would gain points in my book

Yep. They split the picture by sides. It's just more of the deception that we've come so accustom to in the media. No one here is saying he had the same numbers as Obama, but it was estimated that he had over 800k people in attendance. Not bad for the President with the lowest ever approval rating entering office. Me thinks those numbers are cooked, too. What a world.

 

How do you know it was not the largest crowd ever assembled for an inauguration? After all Trump drew tens of thousands at his rallies. .. and he went to 7 a day. Yet that was never mentioned by the MSM. Afterwards they professed shock that he won the election. You figure!

We can only trust those who say something, and I trust Trump since I have never caught him in a lie... while in contrast the MSM never ceases to lie and distort facts. This is what is making them lose readership.

According to RT, or at least the way I understood them, (I might be wrong), someone from the Park Department had tweeted out false information and so they stopped all tweets. There is something else though, the Park Department for the first time covered all the grass and it did begin to pour right after Trump's inauguration speech. Did the people in the back begin to move off the plastic sheets which must have accumulated a lot of water?

Also many people were stopped from attending by Soros' paid anarchists, so if we take those who were not able to get closer, the count probably was one and a half million. They are also taking in account the amount of people who used public transportation which was in the 4 hundred thousand, compared to Obama's inauguration which was in the 3 hundred thousand..

The State Dept during the Obama WH was telling lies on a weekly basis. The entire purpose was to spew false narrative which was then supported by the mainstream media. The Pentagon, NSA, DND and intelligence community did the same.

This Trump team may turn out to be just as bad but, this has yet to be determined. As such your claim is false.
