It strikes me as fair since Obama blasted Bush for 8 years in a row, to discuss his accomplishments.

So let's proceed to honor Obama.

It would be interesting to know how many of those targeted by drones were actual Islamic combatants, I mean that's who the enemy is right?

Oh Please ! All I know now or care to know is :
What a Relief. What a Relief it is.Like Taking Alka Seltzer after
some overly spicey Indian food { too much curry }.
What a relief to know Obama is no Longer our President residing in the
    White House.
I think most All Talk Radio concurs.
    This isn't rocket science.

Obama turned out to be exactly what Joe Biden said about him even as he was running against him. He was a clean well spoken black man who nobody knew anything about but he gave a kick-ass keynote speech at the 2004 Democrat convention. The rest, of course is history.

The only good thing about Obama is that he is gone. Im sure the history will deal harshly with him.

Actually, his numbers were better than average.

    Fairly high approval rating.
    Constantly dropping unemployment numbers.
Constantly improving stock market and increase in the personal wealth of American citizens.
    Good housing numbers.
Lower nation-wide violent crime numbers than Reagan or Bush.
    Steady inflation rate.

While I'm not going to pretend that the numbers were great - they were better than average, and far better than the guy
in the White House before him.

His great failure - the debt. But Reagan and Bush both doubled the debt as well to get themselves out of a weak economy.
I think Obama will be remembered by the majority as an average President and a good father and family man.

Actually, the Dow nearly tripled, unemployment dropped by 50%, the auto industry was saved, the banking system was saved, the housing market has come roaring back, and he has wiped out 2/3 of ISIS without putting any boots on the ground. Oh yes, and unlike the Republicans who attacked the wrong country, Obama got Bin Laden.

Those are just a few highlight from a list a mile long. He was a fantastic President and will be remembered as one of the greats.

His only accomplishment was that he made the Republican party stronger than it has been in quite some time, while destroying the Democrat party.

And you don't care that when he took office, we were on the verge of a 25 year global depression caused by Republican policies.

    Interesting.

Was Obama born in Kenya? Just curious.

Caused by bad government regulations by both parties and started by Clinton and pushed by Obama

We were not near a depression when he took office

Obama was a very statesman-like president, he actually made the pivot transforming into POTUS. Trump, the man-child -in-chief, hasn't got a chance - he is completely incapable of making the pivot. If yesterday is any indication, this administration will be a train wreck of epic proportion..........buckle up 'cause it's about to get very, very weird.....and very embarrassing.

That applies to Tiger Woods, to Bill Gates, to the rest of us.

But as to the debt, that is just how we get conned. Supposedly his debt is forgiven because it was not large enough.

Ten trillion more dollars in debt though doubled it, added up to the debt by all former presidents. Reagan was a piker compared to Obama.

And what Reagan did worked. His administration rescued the nation from stagflation, terrible employment rates, extreme interest rates, etc. I am sure if Trump adds ten trillion dollars more debt, you will roast him alive.

You judged him on his skill with a working teleprompter. When they quit, he really became a huge failure.

Almost all that is true for you, Tiger Woods, Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, etc and it true for me.

I had nothing to do with it nor did Obama. (that was coincidental to his presidency and had he slept the entire time, it all would have still happened. )

Let's talk about what saved the Auto Industry. To keep it from shutting, G. W. Bush gave it the cash infushion. But really bankruptcy saved both Chrysler and GM. Ford had no help and did well.

Since Obama was not in charge of the HR at companies, and no policy rushed to help the rest of us, I fail lto see the purpose of hero worship. I am in the housing market. We got chained by regulations. Yes, the public needs a home and the super low rates in force since Bush does help clients a lot, it was put into effect not by Obama. Obama nor Bush runs interest rates. Bush saved Fannie Mae and Freddie Mack so one might give Bush credit all in all for housing.

As to ISIS, they were not necessary in the first place. We had the means to actually knock them out early on had Obama not decided they were so unimportant, he called them the JV. I guess to him they were lesser than was Al Qaeda. The Japanese only used bombs against FDR to attack Pearl Harbor too but we did not simply shrug it off. Sure, as far as ISIS, they believe Obama declared war on him, but Obama had years of mild action to his name. It was like he saw ISIs as that JV team.

Even both Clinton's saw Iraq as the right country. Think that today due to Bush, Iraq is not suffering under extreme sanctions.

From the point of freed Iraqis, they would no doubt thank Bush a lot faster than thanking Obama.

I get a kick that Obama killed Bin Laden then hid his body. Most would show the photo of the dead body to prove a claim. Obama loves to brag. I was shocked he refused to show photos of Bin Laden to help with his claim. Perhaps to honor Islam he did not show such photos.

But when we got attacked by Japan, it was called war.

When Obama invaded Pakistan to kill a dangerous person, I think Pakistand said Obama declared war on Pakistan.

It was noticed and reported that in his final speech in DC, he kept talking of himself. I think he praised himself 75 times where Trump had 3 times in his inaugural speech given minutes apart from each other.

Trump may go down as very humble. Time will tell.

    Explain that remark.

Correction. The "one trillion for nuclear weapons" has been proposed but yet to be approved or spent. And it is given needed that most U.S. nuclear weapons and nuclear weapon delivery systems are 1980s relics and thus more than 30 years old.

How did it happen that people that could not see hours ahead on November 8, now have years ahead all laid out?

Sorry, Bush broke the store and still owns it. Nothing can fix it. Maybe Trump invading Iran (and a few million more casualties) will take American's mind off Iraq and other drone wars.

It might be twenty years from now with a couple of more Democratic presidents and you people would still be blaming George W. Bush.
