28% of federal employees may quit their jobs when Trump assumes office: Poll

Don't let the door hit ya where ya sit on the way out. It warms my heart to hear 28% are considering leaving now that Trump is President. Any Federal employee worried about what Trump will do enough to want to quit, you will do your fellow countrymen a big favor by quitting. This way they won't have to fire you when the Trump administration cuts the size of Government by up to 20%. To the rest of them all I can say is the party's over, Trump is a business man and will run the Government like a business. If you can't perform your jobs up to standards, you'll be shown the door. The people who pay your wages, no not the Government agency you work for.....the taxpayers, deserve no less than 100% from you everyday.

 

They will be easily replaced. They need the job alot more than the job needs them.

 

So what are they waiting for, they could have submitted their resignations after the last recount and the electoral college vote.... Or they are taking clues from celebrities who promised to move to Canada?

I hope they quit and I hope that will be followed by a hiring freeze.

I don't know of a single celebrity who has moved out of the country.

 

It's one thing to say something to a pollster, and quite another to actually do it. Federal employees make good money and benefits. I seriously doubt any large number will resign.

 

Yep, none and we in all likelihood won't hear of more than a handful retiring federal employees quitting their jobs either

 

I have trouble respecting adults who throw temper tantrums. Threatening to hurt yourself because you didnt get way is immature. It is mind boggling when it is comming from a group of adults.

 

Remember when the government shut down for a while and nobody seemed to notice except people trying to visit free national parks?

If it is true then 30% of civil servants are hysterical people with unstable mentality and Usa has the largest Arsenal of nuclear weapons. It's terrible when fools are in control nuclear weapons.

 

Nothing like a bit of reason and common sense to let out the hot air ....

 

If we're lucky we could get 50% of them to leave. It would be the half that does absolutely nothing all day anyway.

I spent a year working inside a state government building. There are no government workers.

 

Lol well the left should be happy, less govt workers means we dont have to heat or cool their offices. Less global warming.

Unfortunately there's plenty of people in there, just no workers. Computer Solitaire seemed to be the days big event. A most boring existence but they seemed to like it.

I think they need to have every federal agency do a performance audit and dump the slackers.

It is absurd, the tantrum throwing left, & their whining threats. NO ONE would miss them at all, if that many govt employees quit.

Even when obama 'shut down' the govt, he had to close the national parks for it to make any impact on the public. Any other shut down or cutting of govt would not be noticed at all.

It is LONG overdue.. we have needed to cut back govt for decades. I don't think these clowns will do as they threaten, because their jobs are too cushy.

It also shows the infestation within govt of progressive ideology, & their mooching, looting ideology. These are not productive workers, that produce anything useful for society, but they are mostly leeches, who are parasites on society, sucking the blood of the working man.
