So far, Trump has shut down tweets the Department of the Interior because he didn't like a retweet photo of the crowd. He has spent the day whining about the size of the crowd yesterday and bragging about himself in front of the CIA wall of honor.

What he promised to do on day one:

◾"Repeal every single Obama executive order." (He has also pledged more specifically to "eliminate every unconstitutional executive order.")
◾"Repeal Obamacare." (On Trump's campaign website, he's less bullish, promising only to "ask Congress" on day one to repeal Obamacare immediately.)
    ◾"End the war on coal."
◾"Begin swiftly removing criminal illegal immigrants from this country." (More specifically, Trump has promised to do this in his "first hour" in office, "day one, before the wall, before anything.")
◾"Begin working on an impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful, southern border wall."
◾Meet with Homeland Security officials and generals to begin securing the southern border.
◾"Notify all countries that refuse to take back dangerous illegal immigrants who have committed crimes in this country that they will lose access to our visa programs if they continue to do so."
◾Convene his top generals and inform them they have 30 days to come up with a plan to stop ISIS.
◾Fix the Department of Veterans Affairs.
◾Call the heads of major companies who are moving operations oversea to inform them that they'll face 35 percent tariffs.
◾"Contact countries and say…'Folks, we love protecting you, we want to continue to protect you but you're not living up to the bargain'…They're not paying what they're supposed to be paying—which is very little, by the way."
    ◾"Defend the unborn."
    ◾"Withdraw from TPP."
    ◾"Start taking care of our…military."
    ◾Suspend Syrian refugee resettlement.
◾"Notify our NAFTA partners of my intention to renegotiate the deal."
◾"Designate China as a currency manipulator."
◾"Direct every agency in government to begin identifying all wasteful job-killing regulations, and they are going to be removed."
◾"Get rid of gun-free zones [in] schools" and "military bases"—which would require repealing a 25-year-old federal law. ("My first day, it gets signed, okay? My first day. There's no more gun-free zones.")
◾"Ask Congress to pass 'Kate's Law'—named for Kate Steinle—to ensure that criminal aliens convicted of illegal reentry receive strong mandatory minimum sentences."
◾Learn the difference between Hezbollah and Hamas.

As tedious as it is, Trump will likely need congress to reconvene before moving forward on many of the issues you cite. He has though begun his repeal on the ACA, and was expected to defund international planned parenthood this weekend.

Trump has already signed several executive orders, including one that that rolls back Obama's last minute order that was a payback to his friends in the mortgage lobby. Without getting into the weeds, Obama's action weakened FHA's insurance program, and would harm the safeguards we have in place if there is another mortgage meltdown.

It sounded good in that it made it slightly cheaper for borrowers to qualify for risky loans. Who could argue against that?? Except that's the same mentality that Clinton kicked off with the CRA, and helped trigger the mortgage crisis and ultimately the great recession.

What a concept. One of Trumps first actions was to protect the American taxpayer. Go figure that a liberal will find fault.

Let's give the man time. I'm hoping he can reach across the aisle and motivate. The real issue, can the GOP come up with a viable replacement for the ACA?

The OP is a fanatic who thinks attacking 10 year old boys is acceptable due to his "gut feeling". He hates Trump, so regardless of what actually happens he is far to unreasonable to see any good in anything. He is brainwashed.

He also never promised to do those things on day one, more liberal spring of facts to create an argument they don't have. He promised to get started from day one. Lololol

Hey HereWe GoAgain, give Trump a chance and I'm sure he wont let you down.

It's going to take more than a day to repeal Obama's 277 executive orders.

Note: Trump said he would repeal Obama's unconstitutional executive orders, not every one.

Now Obama's over 20,642 regulations on business and on Americans that has crippled our economy and individual freedoms may take some time to repeal.

You seem to not understand our legislative and executive branches processes and responsibility.

I would suggest you go take a government 101 course. Also, just so you know there is a thing called the judicial branch and there is this thing called the Supreme Court. Trump has promised to put in a constitutional justice, but needs to be confirmed by the legislative system.

Maybe if you watch these next few years on operations of government you could learn a lot!

Trump continues to lie as President. Trump denied he feuded with the nation’s intelligence agencies at his visit to CIA headquarters in Virginia and told officers “I love you”. That is patently false. In addition to denying for weeks that Russia interfered in our election, he accused the CIA director of leaking a distasteful story and compared the intelligence community to "Nazi Germany.

To an audience of dedicated CIA operatives and in front of stars representing the fallen, Trump said the media lied about attendance figures at his inauguration. As trite as that sounds, he later had his press secretary call in the White House press corps for a tongue lashing and another bold lie. Spicer said the attendance at Trump's inauguration was a record setter then stomped out of the room without taking any questions.

These childish performances are strong indicators of trouble ahead for the Trump Presidency. Declaring war on the press on the first full day of his administration is not a very good idea. Fox News has been a Trump-friendly network for the past year, but Fox is a part of the news media Trump considers dishonest. An indicator of trouble ahead for Trump and his relationship with Fox is that Chris Wallace tore into Reince Priebus today. Along with many others in the news business, Wallace is a highly respected news commentator and one can readily assume that Wallace didn't appreciate Trump referring to his proud profession as dishonest.

Republicans continue to say the news media is not trustworthy. In the polls regarding the media, guess who is leading the charge in saying they no longer trust the media? Republicans. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
