Trump supporters. . .what have you done to our country?

The first week of the Trump administration has been like living through an alternate reality nightmare. His outlandish treatment of Mexico and his Executive Order freezing all Muslim immigration from nations never connected to terrorism in America, including preventing legal green card holders from returning home after visiting relatives overseas, and even stopping those who've gone through America's legal vetting process cooperatively for 2-3 years successfully, who've been given permission to immigrate to the U.S., and are even already on the plane here, are being stopped at airports and forcibly returned to immigrant camps by Trump's autocratic order. This is NOT the America I know. It's certainly not the America I want. Making America greater can never include making America cold, disparaging, hateful, uncaring, non-compassionate and unwelcoming. For 2 1/2 centuries America has been the world's standing example of what any nation and every nation could aspire for. Trump is leading America to the trash heap of once powerful nations who in their time wasted their greatness by inflicting their will over those less powerful around them. That's not making America great. It's making America history's latest international bully.

 

Really, a President who has actually followed through with all his campaign promises, I'd call it refreshing rather than a nightmare.

 

Even if his promises are as fundamentally stupid as he is?

 

-$20 trillion national debt
-struggling, shrinking middle class, 12% less american families self-identify as middle class than even 8 yeas ago
-collapsing infrastructure
-Healthcare quagmire
-rampant unchecked illegal immigration, catch (a criminal) and release policies
-entire industries, millions of jobs lost to 3rd world countries, tens of thousands of American communities devastated
-disastrous foreign policies, nuclear Iran in 10 years, the Middle East in flames, Russia's aggression in Ukraine and Georgia, China's intransigence

Jeez, what have Trump and his supporters done to our country indeed....... Or did this all happen before Trump?

 

They have begun the endgame for the Constitution the country is founded upon, and either refuse to or are incapable of realizing it.

 

Sometimes a slap in the face does a body good. You can't imagine how many snowflakes are waking up and realizing mommy and daddy aren't always going to be there.

 

And of course none of the above was happening during Bush's presidency. Oh no; America was debt-free and prospering. Who set Iraq on fire? How about US aggression in Afghanistan?

 

These stupid promises won Trump the presidency. Libs & MSM consistanly claim Trump "duped" his supporters, and had no intention of following through on campaign pledges. See who's been "duped"?

 

It's like American elected a pro American leader that doesn't want to continue the "managed decline" policys of the Gazis (global socialist)

The America you know had open boarders that let anyone in. Mexico dumped their prisoners on us. Muslim nations sent their Jihadist here... now that's ending and you're sad.... SHOCKING....

To make the America you want, you have to tear America apart first and fundamentally transform it by flooding the country with unregulated, mass immigration, then telling the immigrants to hate/attack "white people". I'm sorry you can't always get what you want.

When you have no experience of politics and start doing things like this without even consulting your State Department then of course you can claim it is exactly what you want. However the consequences will also be your responsibility.

 

Well, that just demonstrates how gullible his supporters are. Trump is being condemned globally-and even by America's strongest allies. You have been duped, and comprehensively; you just don't get it yet. You will.

 

If there is a terror attack and the money can be traced to the 221 million Obama gave the Palestinians or the 1.5 billion he gave Iran (both huge terror sponsors), will The Obama and the tools that support him have blood on their hands? Will they be "responsible" for the "consequences" of their actions?

 

That $1.5 billion was Iran's money, not America's. Do you know who Pol Pot was? Did you know he was financed and supported by the CIA while murdering millions of his citizens? Does 'Iran-Contra' mean anything to you?

 

I don't know whether they have been duped, apart from moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem perhaps. He is right. This is what some of them wanted. Others I saw interviewed did not even know what he was suggesting and he is well known for saying whatever those he is speaking to wants to hear. Some behind him very much know what they are after. Others I think not so. They of course have been duped. I suspect most of those posting here have not. Whether of course they have any idea of what they are setting in motion is another thing. They of course will be held responsible for that.

If the Republicans had not passed a law in 95 to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem you very well might not have experienced 9/11. The US and particularly in this respect the Republican Party is no innocent. Obama did not give money for terrorism. You say you gave your vote for exactly what is happening.
