A psychologist looks at the underlying Donald Trump. Key word: "lying" (some will call it "exaggerating") - which is as an elementary part of his mental makeup a great long time due to his need for self-agrandizement.

See here (a longggg read) this article written by a psychologist: The Mind of Donald Trump

Bottom line? He's bat(*)(*)(*)(*) nerts, and we're going to have to suffer through 4 years of wondering if we're going to wake up tomorrow or be vaporized because Putin insulted his hands. Thanks Republicans

Trump uses twitter that tells you all you need to know. And we all use social media to be counter productive. This doesn't achieve anything only distraction. But Trump!

He is supposed to be a serious politician, social media is beneath him. That is for juniors in his own party to worry about. A 70 year old man acting like a Facebook or a Political-Forum.com member. Would you trust anyone on this forum to run your country?

Anyone who would diagnose trump without ever having him as a patient, is obviously a democrat and Hillary voter. What would be his judgment of Hillary? Oh, the healthiest personality he had ever diagnosed, would be my guess. Who they gonna bring out next? Someone who does past life regressions, psychically, which would reveal trump is a reincarnation of stalin, or hitler?

I think the psychologist needs to see a shrink. I think the democrats are reaching critical mass and may just lose it completely. Trump already made Schumer cry. The dems have a long way to go in acceptance, and prescripts for drugs to treat their mental afflictions have risen. Invest in big pharma.

Sure, I would trust particular people to run the country that post here. And they would do a better job than the kind of democrats who hold office today.

He is a serious president, is representing average people, and hit the ground running in doing that. The real shock in regards to trump is he broke the nefarious tradition of forgetting what he ran one, and is doing, or trying to do what he ran on. The dems are so used to being lied to, it is making them have mental breakdowns to see trump keep his promises. This makes trump crazy in their warped minds. In the end these trump hating dems will end up with the short end of the stick, for America, away from the coasts, understand what these treasonous dems are trying to do. Not like it is rocket science, that the base side of human nature is revealing itself with these dems.

Mindless blather, because you think the guy walks on water.

He's already off to a bad start, just read the negative press he's getting. Like a bull in a china shop.

We shall see ...

It is actually unethical for a mental health professional to offer a diagnosis of a patient not under his care.

Perhaps the APA should be alerted.

Very appropriate! Spot on!!!

About the only people in the world who can't see it are 100 million Trump supporters - about 1/60th of the planet. The other 59/60ths can see plainly that you all elected a tyrant.

It's you against Muslims, Blacks, Latinos, liberals, a large block of Independents, our allies, Californians, Judges...

What do you expect for a rag that is a mouthpiece for a liberal government agenda that
is flooding Germany with non-vetted immigrants from war zones and failed states ?

And from war zones where people have an axe to grind with European states. How peachy !

Same with the US. We have bent over backwards effing up ME countries. And now some
want to let people from those countries trot right into this US.

Extreme vetting. Sound like common sense to me.

I seem to remember they're not allowed to do Nazi images in country so the next best thing was to portray Trump as a Muslim.

Are there any important leaders today, or in the past in the psychology industry that are not Cultural Marxists?

No.

Have any of these hallowed experts ever written a treatise on the "Minds of Obama or Hillary or any of their beloved Socialists?"

Don't be silly. Psychology is not an "industry".

Yes, one psychologist comes to mind that made an immense contribution to mankind. Abraham Maslow and his Hierarchy of Needs.

If you look at the hierarchy, you will note that there is no mention whatsoever of "Money".

This line of thought is dubious.

Until you explain competently why "psychology" has an influence on political thinking.

Political thinking is just thought expressed for debate. Which is why we are here on this forum.

I am not asking you to believe in a political philosophy of any kind, but I am suggesting that you give Social Democracy a good reading.

Because what's fundamentally wrong with America is the way it emphasizes a mindless-bent for the accumulation of Wealth. As if that particular success brings (a) happiness, (b) recognition and (c) contentment.

Money can buy you a Ferrari, but neither happiness nor personal contentment. Other cultural values are imperative, like sharing. The foremost of which is respect for your fellow humans and a desire to live in a market-economy that assures everyone that same contentment with their decent standard-of-living devoid of poverty.

But for that to happen, we must want a Social Democracy the declared purpose of which is to assure the well-being of all who participate and not just the accumulation of riches for a select minority.

Frankly, to be very, very simple, this last statement boils down to knowing how to "tax and spend" on the requisites that allow personal fulfillment.

Not enrichment, but fulfillment - they are very different objectives ...

So, for once, you do admit he is naked, do you?

You sure you don't see any wonderful clothes on him?

In his latest hysterical flurry of pissytweets, the narcissist has revised his revilements of US intelligence agencies that persist in exposing Trumpi perfidy.

Trump accused U.S. intelligence agencies of “illegally” leaking information to the New York Times and Washington Post on Wednesday, following revelations that members of his presidential campaign were in contact with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election.

In yet another flurry of wee-hour kvetching, Trump likened those leaking the information to "the Kremlin!"

“Information is being illegally given to the failing @nytimes & Washingtonpost by the intelligence community (NSA and FBI?),” Trump tweeted. “Just like Russia!”

Does that imply a reevaluation of the American patriotic public servants that he had previously equated with "Nazis!"?

Of course the better psychiatrists are from the medical realm. Those clinical psychologists and other politically-motivated "professionals" at the APA are too subjective to be trusted. Have you looked at their website? Political rubbish.

Maslow got it wrong that physical needs such as food and water coming before safety. If one is being attacked by a large predator, one isn't going to eat drink or sleep---they will try to fight or flee.

As far as political thinking goes, I'd look into Cultural Marxism. Likely your goals are identical.

Despite your remark, his Hierarchy of Needs has indeed survived the Test-of-time.

It indicates well the challenges we all face in life, and especially where government assistance priorities lie in the first two levels at the bottom. All the rest requires just some good-luck and a bit of ambition.

Been there, done that. Settled on Social Democracy as manifested by the CPC in LaLaLand on the Potomac.

I am a firm believer in "Well-supervised Capitalism". There is even hope in America if its people ever have a Great Political Reawakening by throwing BoobTube commercialized elections along with the Electoral College into the dustbin of history where they belong ...

You see, boys an girls....so-called 'psychologists' love complicated, intelligent, creative, deep thinking people....Like Trump....So much to 'analyze' there and so much $$$$ to make providing fake diagnoses pulled out of their darkest crevasses..... Not like Obama where there really was nothing at all...other than memorized words and posturing.
