"We have no problem with overseas visitors using our NHS as long as they make a fair contribution, just as the British taxpayer does, said Jeremy Hunt, the health secretary. We are announcing plans to change the law which means those who arent eligible for free care will be asked to pay upfront for non-urgent treatment. The new rules come into force in April." The new rules won't come into force in April or any other time because they're totally impracticable and unenforceable. Not only that, the costs of non-urgent treatment is only peanuts compared to emergency care, which rules will remain unchanged. No wonder the NHS is at the point of collapse with a fool like Hunt in charge who can't even understand that. But then why should he - he'll never use the NHS, he'll go private. https://www.ft.com/content/8543aa32-ec3f-11e6-ba01-119a44939bb6
The NHS isn't still on the brink is it? Still? Every day of life so far the NHS has been on the brink. Seems so doomed to ultimately fail. How many tens of thousands of days can it expect to be permanently on the brink before everyone realises it isn't and never has been. But is instead a giant self serving industrial blob. Yawn. NHS. Snore. Heard it all before. Privatise everything. 100% of all state services and property. I'm sick of the perma lying from people who permanently want more. Privatise please. It's the only way significant reform can occur. Mass sackings.
There's always one . . . read this and er, get yerself a private health plan fast, because you're obviously unaware of the true situation.
