Very entertaining and flawlessly performed. I thought she did a very enchanting, robust, and engaging show. It's all on YouTube in case you missed it.
+Her performance was awesome, amazing, patriotic and totally classy. It was 1000 times better than the hateful, ignorant half time show last year.
I have not been a Lady Gaga fan in fact I think that her stage name is stupid but Indid enjoy her show. Maybe my expectations of her performance was too low. I really like the patriotic pieces of songs she opened with. I wonder if the extreme RW was totally PO'd that she used a stanza from Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land". I just want to remind people that Woody Guthrie was almost a Communist or at least a Fellow Traveler in the 1930's. Still I like that song and Guthrie did back away from Communism after a few short years of being a Pinko. I do not believe that Guthrie was ever a real hard core Commie.
Hey is there any extreme RWINGIE out there who realizes that the GAGA Women implanted a 1940's anti establishment protest song?
You're right, and Woody Guthrie was more of a good, old-fashioned Democrat than anything else. The 1930's were a totally different time in the nation's life. Back then, the divisions between people were really more economic than political/philosophical in nature (IMHO). But everybody, Left and Right, rich and poor, had a deep reverence and love for the United States of America! A big difference between then, and now.... Whether I simply imagined it, or whether it was what she intended, I thought Lady Gaga's show projected a love of country, along with a healthy, happy, vital optimism that I found to be appealing and encouraging, especially during these times of such pronounced political warfare....
Eh, it was okay, but I felt like she was trying to do too much in too little time. I've felt that way about pretty much every recent halftime show, although I do rank Gaga's performance higher than Katy Perry and some of the other recent acts. Plus it appears that she didn't lip-sync, so I do have to give her major props for that.
I liked how she worked in that phrase from the Pledge of Allegence " one nation under God". I think that the division us still economic today as it has always been. White middle aged men PO'd that Blacks and minorities are perceived to be getting more economic goodies than they are. Thise illegals are coming here to steal our jobs. China is stealing our jobs somis Mexico. Yep economic.
You know, when I heard that she was going to perform both on top and in the stadium, I kinda figured she was gonna rappel down, but never expected what happened afterwards. That whole show was visually STUNNING!!! And, to tell the truth, I didn't realize how many GaGa songs I know until she started singing and I'd heard and remembered most of the songs she did. I also liked the glowing drones she had flying behind her on the roof. Did you know that it was Disney that developed and wrote the software that drives them? Yeah..............up until now, I thought the best Superbowl show ever had been done by Katy Perry, but Gaga has taken the top spot now.
She has been copared to Madonna - a shame. She is much more than Madonna: She composes, she plays, she makes her costumes, her choregraphies, she have a good voice, a wide artistic range... and she's not even what you can call a beautiful woman. Just talents, lots of it. I am a fan even thought I do not like her music that much.
I didn't know anything about her before the Superbowl. I thought she was supposed to be some kind of weirdo but it turns out that she is a great performer and she has a beautiful voice. She also just happens to be really good looking too. I was surprised that they actually had a white person on the half time show. There has been so much emphasis on having black this and black that lately. Maybe we are finally beginning to start to get over all that crap now that Obama is finally gone.
she definitely has some good songs out there Bad Romance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrO4YZeyl0I&ob=av2e Just Dance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Abk1jAONjw&feature=channel Poker Face http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bESGLojNYSo
I thought everything she did was really done well, including "Born This Way" which I enjoyed very much. The whole halftime performance can be found at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txXwg712zw4 . It was great! It was like for a short while we could actually celebrate being happy, joyful Americans again without everybody being pissed off and stabbing everybody else in the back. Thank you, Lady Gaga!
Maybe it was my sound system but I really couldn't understand most of her lyrics. (Except the patriotic ones at the beginning) She is very talented but I'm just not a fan of hers. Her high flying gymnastics were impressive and I liked her ending. I wondered where she ended up.
I declined to watch it and made myself a chocolate pie during half-time. I do like the music of "Telephone" -- very interesting music, but the lyrics are unbelievably stupid.
Ehh...I wasn't overly impressed. She is a talented performer and the show itself was flawless, I just wish they would have a big hard core band. I'm pop stared out.lol. At least she didn't pull a Madonna and yell something stupid. Prince was the best so far. .
