This appears to be a religious war between various factions where there is ethnic cleaning going on. this is the most brutal kind of killing, as if you were not a fellow human being, of course, and torture is no doubt included in 'the goings on.'

This is where you must ask whether god wants you to kill for him, or, is it more 'resource based?' these people would make excellent slaves, yes? they would be far worse off without them as slaves, which buys them time for a prisoner exchange, of course. if one of these 'slaves' was to go fishing, they could bring in many fish. the governments of these countries need to make a plan - the richer country makes ships, and the poorer country supplies fishermen, maybe?

Maybe the best thing is for them to move out of the region closer to home? where is the pride in killing an enemy that cannot fight back - this is like kicking a small child of your neighbours for the sake of them praying differently or such, yes? surely there can be a way forwards where the state does not need to come under pressure - maybe even sanctions? - for the sake of killing someone you do not like?

So, the people should be chased away, allowed to leave. if you were living in a place where it is wrong to be yourself, maybe they should be a chance given to be someone else?

US: Aid in Myanmar Must Reach Those in Need
September 08, 2017 - U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is reminding Myanmar, also known as Burma, that while Washington supports the fight against violence in northwestern Rakhine state, humanitarian aid must reach those in need.

September 08, 2017 - As tens of thousands of Rohingya Muslims fleeing violence in Myanmar's Rakhine state have escaped across the border to neighboring Bangladesh, analysts warn that the situation could become a lightning rod and a recruiting tool for foreign militants if it remains unaddressed.

Who here thinks the Muslim population there wasn't going to grow eventually until they were too big to get rid of, and of course whenever Muslims reach a certain level of population in non-Muslim countries and they think they can get away with it start butchering the locals and taking over? They do this everywhere, and they're doing in Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The Buddhists can either drive them out while they're strong enough to do so, or face genocide later.

Nice justification of systematic murder and rape you got there.

Islam is a violent genocidal political ideology, not a 'religion'. This 'war' is just smart people denying Muslims the opportunity to do their usual thing of wiping the 'non-believers' out first when they had enough numbers later.

Yes, I'm sure the Rohinga women being raped by the soldiers of Myanmar "brought it on themselves". Let me guess, you claim to be a moral conservative, don't you?

Must be pretty bad to rouse the normally peace-loving Buddhists to anger.

We should all be taking a good look at Myanmar and know that could be the type of situation our countries could be in one day.

This is a problem that has been playing out on three different continents. Really think it's just a coincidence?

It's just self-defense, period. They're encouraged by the lack of real responses from western govts. in the face of 'Jihad', and using that sign of weakness to rampage nearly everywhere, Thailand, Malaysia, Phillipines, Africa, Europe ... they're a blight everywhere on the planet. Murdering scum with a murderer 'Prophet'.

Let Islamo-Land take care of them; there is a lot of wealth to go around among them, no need for us to waste resources on them since in a few years they are only going to be haters and killers.

Yes, it's not exactly Times Square with 3 zillion media types running around with complete access. It never was an easy place to get around in or find out anything.

What "jihad"? There was no "jihad" among the Rohinga. Stop trying to justify rape and murder.
