Intollerant Leftist Obstructionists are at it again:

    http://www.mediaite.com/online/go-b...rs-block-betsy-devos-from-entering-dc-school/

Peaceful protests are the backbone of our system. But physically obstructing government officials from performing the duties of their jobs is plain unlawful. These "protestors" need to thrown in jail to send a clear message that their antics won't be tolerated. But I'm not holding my breath.

That worthless oligarchic lobbyist never bothered to go into a public school before. Why is anyone surprised?

Hmm. She looks rather rattled that her photo op did not go as planned.

I am sure she had plenty of business in that single school as secretary of education, a position she appears to have bought.

How else might the teachers union conceal the fact that the failure of public education IS the teachers union? Self preservation 101 ...

Do you honestly believe ANYONE views the job as desirable? That's been a thankless job for decades. IMO only someone who felt they had a moral obligation, would accept the burden.

Be vigilant around lefties they are becoming more dangerous by the day. Here a couple of them assaulted the Secretary of Education and prevented her from performing her job. As more and more actions such as this occur they are just showing the rest of the country how extreme they have become. Just remember if you find yourself being harassed by a group of lefties keep moving, don't let them surround you and watch your back.

I don't blame them. DeVos is not someone we should have in charge of our schools. Shame on Trump and shame on the Republicans for appointing her.

Why would she want to study an inferior system?

Go unions. Maybe it is time to think about the children for a change instead of union supremacy.

My son was arrested last year in his high school because he blocked his girlfriend's path for a few seconds and it was witnessed by a teacher.

But the left is now showing its true colors; there is no love, no compassion, no tolerance, no acceptance of opposing thought - they just want what they want and are too immature to handle not getting their way.

I hope she just shuts down the whole Department of Education and returns the power of education back to the local levels. On the way, she should set new regulations which will destroy the swollen number of parasite administrators so obscene tax money we spend goes to the children and not the unions and administrators.

Not in DC. DC is 100% Democrat control. Murder is legal there, depending who is murdered and why.

Throwing them in jail? Who gets to foot the bill for feeding, housing them, supervision, medical, etc?? And you wonder why local taxes are so high? Just imagine the costs involved if you arrest several thousand protestors.

Be careful for what you wish for; you might actually get it.

I was timing how long it would take for the leftists to chime in and defend these wannabe anarchists. Much faster than expected....

What's wrong with people like these anti-DeVos zealots? Did their mommies wean them off the bottle too early?

Agreed. So why is it finland does not do what the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing dumbass right insists on doing here, privatizing and profitizing our schools, and yet they crush us in basically every academic field?

And, inb4 idiotic arguments about country size.

Other nations have working systems that dont exploit children in for profit scams.

Why do you lot ignore it, and further, refuse to accept it as truth?

Remember when it used to be polite to remove your hat indoors. Teachers can no longer tell a kid to remove their hat. A liberal win.

Glad you agree, get rid of unions.

Its superior in finland. Norway. The uk. France. Practically everywhere but here.

And yet, despite mountains of evidence to support my side, you just ignore facts and continue bleating like a corporatist sheep.

    - - - Updated - - -

I dont give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about unions. Our teachers here are treated like villains. They ought to be paid top dollar to entice top talent. You know, a novel free market idea. Instead, you promote charters and religious schools where pay is bottom barrell.

The union is irrelavent. Whats relavent is the rights demonizing of educators and outright ignoring every other working system while promoting cash grabs for kids.

    (*)(*)(*)(*) that noise.

    - - - Updated - - -

Blah blah. Got a real point, or just nore useless accusatory bs to throw around?

Throw them in jail and fine them twice the amount it cost to feed, house, supervise, medical, etc.

To pretend that she was considered for any reason other than her family's donations considering her background is plain intellectual dishonesty. She literally bought this job. She's wholly unfit and unprepared for this position. That does jive with the vibe of every other cabinet member to come out of this idiotic administration except for precious few.

That's probably the scariest thing I've read in the thread so far. Just promote anarchism when you don't get your way through our democratic process. Wow...

That's a compliment to her and Trump. So consider this a thanks from the Trump administration.
