A new tactic in dealing with pseudo dictators one praises often. Expecting. Not hope. Not putting pressure on. Not discussing. Simply expecting. Trump expects Russia to return Crimea, like an overdue library book or something. Trump , who famously did not seem to realize the Russians had invaded the Crimea, now expects them to return it. Perhaps they will not Mr. President because they think you are a buffoon whom is grossly incompetent. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-russia-ukraine-idUSKBN15T2IY "President Trump has made it very clear that he expects the Russian government to de-escalate violence in the Ukraine and return Crimea," Spicer said at a daily news briefing. "At the same time, he fully expects to and wants to get along with Russia."
Perhaps ...hes just saying this to shut the Leftists up? And any damage Trump has suffered in the eyes of Russia is courtesy of the rabid Left fake news and conspiracy theory machine. Putin is probably like "bro I understand you're the land of the free but why don't you just arrest these traitors already". Putin is probably reaching the end of his cultural objectivity. But hey, maybe we should start a war with Russian. Would that satisfy the Left?
I thought Trump was the GREATEST NEGOTIATOR ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH..... Why does he need to take advice from Putin? Obama was great president who never had to rely on Putin.
Obama didn't kill Bin Laden. Special Forces did. Bin Laden got ratted out by a local, Obama reluctantly gave the okay.
Crimea has a large Russian military presence at this point, unlikely it will just be given back. Have not looked into it lately, but the Russians were building various large bridges to connect with its territory that bypass Ukrainian soil. The bridges are a large investment from what I understand. Russia tells White House it will not return Crimea to Ukraine http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-russia-ukraine-idUSKBN15U0U0 ---"We don't give back our own territory. Crimea is territory belonging to the Russian Federation," Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, told a news briefing on Wednesday. ---Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, when asked about Spicer's comments, said President Vladimir Putin had already explained why Crimeans had turned to Russia. "The theme of returning Crimea will not be discussed ... Russia does not discuss its territorial integrity with foreign partners," Peskov told a conference call with reporters. Trump had not raised the Crimean issue in a Jan. 28 phone call with Putin, Peskov noted, saying the Kremlin would try to make contacts with the Trump administration to try to improve ties which he said were in "a lamentable state."
lol so true. And the man who allowed Putin to take Crimea. Not that liberals care about the facts of course.
Well Trump understands that to deal with Russia, you cannot act like a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) buffoon going to apology tours to the Muslim aggressors. Obama showed great weakness and Russia took advantage.
Comrade Trump is having troubles at home, it's time to distract the masses with international probs. We're doomed.
IMHO, Trump's presidency last days looks like a house on fire. He missed a punch and started to reel. Trump pays so much attention to various things like Alec Boldwin's show. He's the president, he must not care about such things at all. And his foreign policy and some sharp turns is a result of political situation inside the United States. He simply tries to defend himself from accusations of being pro-Russian and tries to look hard.
He's not having any troubles at home, but keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better about America tossing your ideology in the dustbin.
