This is my thought process for what happened to the left wing. Right now, they are still in full-blown denial mode. Look back at the threads prior to the election. Our resident left wingers were 100% positive this election was going to Hillary. They would have bet their child's tuition on it. What they forgot to do was, pay attention to the electoral map, and Trump's movement.

Trump wins, and all they can cling to is hoping he, by some miracle to them, gets impeached.

Let's play into this for a minute. Pence has been by far the most professional politician of this election process (including both sides). He's very soft spoken, he takes criticism much better than Trump, and he's not quick to attack like Trump and Hillary/Kaine. There's one lurking problem for the left. He's a conservative extremist. This soft spoken gentleman could flip the US social status before the left wing can say "Nevermind, we'll stick with Trump".

This movement to have Trump impeached is one of the most hilarious holes I've ever seen the left dig. Will he be impeached? Most likely not. But if he were, how would you like a President Pence? Imagine how happy the Tea Party would be? Their very own member, leading the free world!

I'll ask again, who's pumped for a President Pence?

I get the feeling (and this is just me thinking out loud), that the left wing really hasn't thought this through.

The problem with Pence is that he's just a standard off the rack GOP hack. I give him great credit for being a supportive vice President, but if Bill Kristol gets an itchy trigger finger and takes Trump out, Pence, without Trump's backbone, would just revert to Bush-lite. Who exactly is the constituency for that?

Maybe Pence takes over 2021 when Trump will retired his perfect job. Or Trump lose his job in election against Clinton or Gary Johnson just what he will do this year in north border with NAFTA he will win to Gary Johnson how also will NAFTA or just before 2016 election. Last four years he wanted NAFTA this closer right wing Party and it is Liberty politicians ?

Pence is driven by the Palin and Santorum train. I see no plausibility in a bush-lite.

Why don't you ask them left wing fellars if they thought it through?

What the question should be is what is best for our country. Do we have 4 to 8 years of a chaos ridden Administration led by egotistical megalomaniac with the intellectual capacity of a 12 year old boy or do we have a sane semi honest adult who we may or may not agree with on sons things.

Fir the good of the country I would go with Pence even though I was disappointed in him fir not having the balks to stand up to the Trump when he should have.

The Palin train was a complete derailment intellectually and practically.

Good that was my question. You'd prefer the Tea Party over Trump.

I'm glad you're starting to understand the severity of you wanting Trump impeached.

I think the Trump-impeachment train is hoping that Pence appoints a moderate VP, and then they can figure a way to get rid of Pence.

But, yeah, you do have a point.

Pence is a whacked-out RW reactionary.

Trump is as pliable as Silly Putty, and is just clueless enough to accidentally do the right thing.

I'm just wondering how many behind close doors deals Trump has with the left wing. I'd almost prefer Pence if I weren't a social liberal.

    He did ask them.
Although it's hard to trust their opinion since they thought Hillary would be best for the country.

I can shut the Liberals up here in Indiana by just suggesting that Pence would be president if Trump wasn't.

About 1 year and few months Trump maybe quit and Pence have to be president to 2020 then he leave it to new republican campaigns and I wanted maybe and wannabee Cruz republican winner. My republican favorite of course I feeling Trump are best America how cannot where best America and he quit after 1 year some president. Maybe in spring 2018. Pence are good if he repeat Obamas precentialy role if maybe seat to 2024 then bring Johnson or Mi.Obama to biggest job in America's.

    Mike Pence is sane.

He's not a psychopath like Trump.

He's not likely to start a nuclear war over an offensive Tweet.

He doesn't want to make enemies everywhere.

    He's not a paranoid freak.

He doesn't want to be the next Hitler.

So yes, Pence would be better than Trump.

It's a long time between now and 2020, but, given the likelihood that the radical Democrat wing will put up another candidate as ruinous and rotten as Idiot Obama or Criminal Hillary, then the only person I can imagine myself supporting would be Pence (given that President Trump does not choose to run again).

My greatest fear? The radical, socialist wing of the Libocrat Party decides to run Michelle Obama! The welfare "rat herd" would come boiling up from their sewers to vote for her in swarms!

Trump is no spring chicken. He works extremely hard getting only a few, some say four hours of sleep a night. I don't know how healthy he is, but I wonder if he can keep up this pace. I doubt he'll want to run for a second term, if he makes it that far. Pence isn't Trump and he knows it. He admires the president and for good reason. I think he'd make an acceptable POTUS, but I like Trump better.

I too wonder if Trump would want to go for a 2nd term. My gut says he loves the job.

Pence is a very loyal guy. He'd make an outstanding President but he's too conservative for me. Being an atheist, I share some disagreements on policies with him. However, he's a very Presidential man.
