    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...-after-reportedly-criticizing-trump-top-aides

Craig Deare, recently appointed the U.S. National Security Council’s senior director for Western Hemisphere Affairs, was removed from the agency days after criticizing President Donald Trump and senior White House officials during a private event.

Deare had been selected for the role by Michael Flynn.

The former Army intelligence officer reportedly criticized Trump and others in the administration during a roundtable discussion at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington this week.

It appears Trump is too much of a snowflake to handle criticism.

This means he will be purging more staff, as he will get lots of criticism.

And remember, this is NOT an Obama carry-over. This was new staff.

Well actually appears Trumps wants to put the bureaucracy on notice that loyalty to him and what he wants to do, mostly the later, is of paramount importance and he will not tolerate people who won't get on board with the program. It's likely perfectly okay to argue how best to acheive the policy but pissing on the policy gets you a ticket to civilian life by the way that is usually how it is in the upper echelons of the business world. If you aren't on board with the bosses visio of where the company should go you'd best keep it to yourself or you'll need another job 'ere long.

Last I checked, the president, as well as the people the president appoints, are all servants of the People of the United States of America.

The United States of America has never been, now, or in the future, designated as a corporation in any shape manner or form. It is a government by the people and for the people under the rule of law, and no one, including the president is above the law.

And no one said otherwise. Does not change the fact that if one wishes to effect the sort of whole sale change Trump is after your top people have to be on board. And they serve like it or not at the whim of the president.

I'm sure if Mrs. Clinton were our president she'd never fire one of her underlings for criticizing her. No they'd just have an unfortunate random accident.

    So?

Didn't Obama "retire" a lot of generals because they wouldn't get on board with his agenda? But to your view, if Trump does it he is "thin-skinned".
    Your hypocrisy is tangible.

Defend Trump's action without deflecting to Obama.

This thread isn't about Obama, it is about Trump.

In the future please try to stay on topic.

    Thanking you in advance.

Trump is the biggest, most thin-skinned, snowflake ever to inhabit the office of POTUS.

Sadly, his blinded (and horrendously duped) supporters see an "Alpha Male" when the reality is that:

Trump is a scared, paranoid, little man.

Trump's flim-flam seems to have worked very well on the simple minds of low-information voters.

He wasn't fired. He was reassigned to the National Defense University. Your article clearly says so. Did you even read it?

At least he is smart enough to read the post with enough clarity to understand the fired hack was not offering his view in any sort of a venue where that was desired but instead was mouthing off at a public forum.

How amusing...a poster who thinks anyone cares what he views as the boundaries of the debate and the arguments that may be used!

No, the people on the oars have got to pull the same direction. Trump is doing the job he set out to do and doing so in spite of the obstacle course he has to run to do so.

Nah...the Military will be too busy rebuilding itself and discovering folk again get promoted on merit and not political correctness to worry about the President firing hacks.

I disagree. I think Hillary, other than feeling it was deserved, lacked any qualifications for the job.
