You read that right folks.

The man who derided Obama numerous times via social media for playing golf once again, again, played golf.

Now I do not begrudge the man a round of golf. A bit of a boring sport, in my personal opinion, but if helps him unwind, then so be it.

But it reeks of raging hypocrisy, engaging in, with even greater frequency, the pastime he chastised the last president for playing.

President Trump hit the golf course for the third weekend in a row.

Trump played “a couple of holes” on Saturday and Sunday while staying at his resort Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., the White House told reporters.

Trump played golf with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe last weekend and also hit the links the weekend prior, both times at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump has referred to his resort as the “Winter White House” and “Southern White House.” After Trump took office, Mar-a-Lago doubled membership rates to $200,000 a year.

 

Question: Why should I care?

 

He's also spent more taxpayer money on his vacations in a month that Obama did in a year. He's fully aware that his base is a combination of gullible morons and those who don't care what he does as long as he attacks the "*******" media and the brown people.

To be honest I did speak out when I saw how much money Obama spent on just a single date night with his wife. It was a lot of money I felt was wasted. It's not fair of me to look the other way just because I support Trump. Now if he is paying for this with his own money that is one thing but nobody else should have to pay every time he wants to play golf.

 

Don't have a problem with presidents taking a vacation. It's has to be the most stressful job on the planet but 3 vacations in the first 3 weeks???

Come on. Even Reagan didn't do that.

Now that it is a white guy playing golf every weekend and pissing away tens of millions in taxpayer dollars to follow him around on his leasurely travails it is fine with the GOP faithful. They just had a problem with a negro like Obama doing it. The biggest ******** on television, Sean Hannity used to squeal at the top of his lungs weekly about the 98 million taxpayer dollars that Obama and his family cost us for security during the 8 years he was in office. Trump has been there for less than a month and has already racked up over 10 million. Most GOP voters are offended by negroes on the golf course....lol

It's not the cost of playing golf that racks up millions in expenditures it is the security detail that must follow him and his family around. All of those who used to squeal about Obama's vacations and the cost were just a bunch of hypocritical ********s. Sean Hannity used to rant and rave about it and I would be willing to bet that the little puke won't say a word about the fact that Trump is costing us at least five times more...

 

Most presidential expenses are the cost of travel from Air Force one and the expense of all the staff that has to be relocated as well. I BELIEVE alot of personal expenses are actually billed TO the president and doesnt come out of the taxpayers money. I think like...30% or maybe a bit more of Obamas expenses were just from his vacations in Hawaii...Which isnt surprising because that is far far away from the whitehouse

Expenses to the tax payer I assume would include stuff like...

Hotel and Lodging Costs
Car Rentals
Air/Rail expenses

For the Staff...not the president himself

 

Playing golf with leaders of other major powers is work, not vacation.

However, considering how much the "disloyal opposition' has twisted and derided his every word, IMO he's entitled to all the vacation he wants.

 

the President is not accepting a salary, all of his vacations are expensive because he has to be protected from evil doers whose kingdoms are built on the backs of the American peasants.

A slight tangent but the reason he didn’t take the salary is most likely to be because he relies on a near-zero income to build up tax relief on capital gains, which is what he’ll have been living off. It’s fairly standard practice for the very wealthy.
