Religion and how it ruins everything for everyone. -Religion negatively impacts those who most fervently believe in it by sectioning them off from the rest of society and the world. They are socially, morally and logistically incompatible with the vast majority of their fellow humans (religious and non-religious) due to their religious biases that aren't even based on reality but a bedtime story. -Religious people tend to be poorer statistically. -Religious people tend to be less educated statistically. -Religion truly does ruin lives. People who would otherwise be perfect for each other are directly opposed simply because their version of Peter Pan differs slightly. We're talking kids who would exist but won't because of differing versions of Peter Pan. -The vast majority of religious people have a massive incentive to not be religious but almost none of them know or understand this (but their bank account certainly does). Most are poor and are directly negatively impacted by their religious biases that make it virtually impossible for them to enter or stay in the professional workforce long term. Nobody wants to admit it but HR departments basically exist to fire religious people who would otherwise internally crash the company or organization via their insane biases against the rest of the entity and its goals. Religion is very bad for business and businesses found this out early on in human history. -Religious people are deeply insecure and with good reason, they should be and they know it. They aren't normal humans. They actively believe in a fantasy all day long that directly impacts their ability to normally exist and interact with the rest of humanity. A virus knows it has very good reason to be insecure in a host's body because if found it will be destroyed by the healthy body. -We need to openly acknowledge that religious people are not normal people. Something is indeed wrong with that person. Very wrong. That is not a healthy human being and if you think it is you know you aren't being honest with yourself. They are living an unhealthy lie and suffering negative consequences of all kinds because of that lie. That is the definition of a sick organism. Do they need help? Yes. They do. -Let's be very real about what religion actually does. It prevents people from living in reality. From living in the world they actually live in. It sections humans away from other humans for reasons that are totally made up and fake. Religion is simply escapism from reality. It's a cowards way out of the best thing the universe can bestow on an entity, Life. Religion cheats a human out of their life, their real life. Religion becomes a parasite that takes away a persons ability to actually live life normally and that is a horrendous crime against the universe. -Think about dying to protect your version of Peter Pan. Think how truly awful and despicable that actually is. Someone sent you to die to uphold a version of Peter Pan. It's in this way especially, people dying for religion, that you truly know religion is one of the greatest, ultimate crimes humanity has to grapple with and overcome. The scary part is that we may not overcome it. The nightmare criminality of religion may actually end up ending us all via its parasitically controlled humans. We still live in the dark ages of humanity thanks to religion. -Religion is a mafia used to accumulate wealth for a small minority over a large majority using a Peter Pan story. It's about money. It's not about anything else. It knows it's a business and has no delusions that it has anything to do with spirits or god and or gods. But it leaves that part out to you. Religion is merely an international business collective. All religions are or aspire to be. (And hey, that would be fine if it didn't cause so much damage to humanity. The problem is religions product is sick humans incapable of logic). -Choosing to be religious is like choosing to have a cold. You are now a sick person. You now can't function properly. You can't learn properly. You can't be around other people easily. You can't have normal thoughts. You're trapped. You're choosing to be trapped. You're choosing to leave the normal world and enter a willful delusion.
It's highly unlikely religion is the cause of making people poorer, and less educated. It's far more likely that those who aren't very intelligent, are also far less likely to question religion, get educated, and make as much money.
If religion provides a context for people to order their lives and their values, no harm done. If it is not for you, then it is not for you. You don't get to decide the beliefs of other people.
The my way, or the highway views of religion, or no religion, are clearly what's wrong. Atheist Communist enforcers of Atheism, and Christian, or Muslim imperialist enforcers of Theism have acted in a similarly barbaric manner.
