From the Economist, here: NAFTA - Reshape or Shatter

    Excerpt:
After seeing how Donald Dork put his foot into his BigMouth, we shall see how he blabbers his way out of this one. (How about building a Mexico Wall and the US starts recruiting people from, say, Somalia ... ? ;^)

Stoopid is as stoopid does*. (Forrest Gump)

*He's made also the same mistake with China when he dumped TPP that would have required China to observe foreign patents and stop dumping knock-off products on US markets.

Yeah, everyone loves a good political food fight --so if you really want you can go right ahead as long as you're willing to clean up the mess afterward.

Then again maybe we'd be better off just getting back to making a living and focusing on what we want for public policy -what we want is to be able to buy and sell stuff. Historically election rhetoric about how bad foreign trade w/ both Clinton & Obama morphed into opening things up. So far the current president's following a noble and wise tradition w/ talk about renegotiating and revising NAFTA --and that's how we've done it continually since Clinton first signed NAFTA into law.
