I'm sure if there are any states like California that absolutely must have boys and girls going to the bathroom together, they can mandate it. Not sure how it was ever a federal issue in the first place.

 

I don't see how this is an issue at all. It never was before.

 

It became an issue when Obama had a directive issued requiring it for every school in the country. Why he felt that was necessary I have no idea.

 

He wanted to be remembered as a civil rights champion. It's odd that people see this as a civil rights issue.

 

My memories of the early 80's are that no one gave a good (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*). Flaming queens in the womens' bathroom, bull dykes in either, straight girls in the mens (good hunting!), etc. Of course this was the nightlife scene, and everyone was over 18. Still, it didn't happen in a vacuum. We were more liberal then.

 

Gay bars in the 80s aren't really representative of the entire population in the 80s

 

The whole Bathroom issue is simply based on, Hate of LGBT, and making it more difficult to use bathrooms, when all that needs to be done is have individual Unisex bathrooms, one person goes in, locks the door, takes care of business and when they are through, they leave, problem solved, however since this is not about wanting a solution, and more about wanting a Fight.

That's simplistic. There are hundreds of thousands of currently existing public toilets now. In the future, you can build all the single occupancy bathrooms you want, but we'll have the old fashioned ones around for the next 50 years or so.

 

So you think trans women that want to use the ladies room hate the lgbt? The problem never existed until it was raised recently.

 

It worked really well all my life up until the last two or so years. I don't believe this is a real issue.

Unless you are losing your mind, you should well remember me and what I stand for, the Hate is from those People fighting against the LGBT community, it does not include any members of the LGBT community.

Well this bathroom nonsense was the democrat party. Up until a year or two ago there was no need for an executive order regarding bathrooms. This isn't hate. There is no reason to allow men into the ladies locker rooms and such. If you're a trans woman and you're respectful none is the wiser and that system works. There was no need to drum up all of this rhetoric.
