If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.

If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

Foxworthy is a southerner so thats an automatic dismiss, but its mainly a dismiss because it isnt true.

 

But it is mostly true in most respects and utterly true in general principles. That's also why the Dems lost the presidential election in 2016, because the average citizen had finally gotten enough of leftism.

I also enjoy Jeff Foxworthy because he's an exceptional comedian and like all entertainers he 'plays to his audience" with right-wing redneck humor. That's what he's built his career on. So of course, based upon right-wing redneck humor everything he states makes perfect sense and it would certainly ring true based upon the prejudice of his audience.

Of course it is comedy and not supposed to be accepted as factual in the real world. It's a comedic spoof, a satire making fun of right-wing (redneck) beliefs, and nothing more.

Truly great comedians have a twisted mind. That's what makes them funny. It's the absurdity of what that say and do that makes them funny. That's why Trump was so good on the Apprentice. He was such a bad example of what a corporate executive is really like that it was extremely funny to watch him on the show. A good corporate executive would have been very boring.

What are conservatives principles? I never see one noble position cons take. Its' all about lets give tax breaks to millionaires, screw all the poor people they are just lazy bums, I got mine so the hell with everybody else. Hell no we shouldn't dismiss other comedians. They're also great comedians and entertainers because they love to spoof and to present satirical humor as well. We don't take them seriously of course, any more than we'd take Jeff Foxworthy seriously, because their purpose is to make us laugh and we should all laugh a little bit more.
