What's the first thing that comes to mind when you get bored?

Do you think about your girlfriend? Do you get in the truck and drive to the golf course? Do you just go to sleep? Do you troll internet threads looking for hilarious reactions?

    Name your poison

When I'm really bored I'll procrastinate working out

I don't have time to get bored - I'm here in the mornings, I resume reading my latest download from Kobo/Play Books after lunch (and sometimes drop off! Well I do get up at 4 [IMG] ), or if the weather's good I get into shorts and onto the balcony [IMG], then I surf the internet for stuff like reviews of the latest cars, and seeing if there's anything I can't live without on eBay and Amazon, spend the hour betwixt 5 and 6 playing Scrabble for my brain exercising (I used to spend it listening to the BBC PM current affairs program until they dumbed it down  ), then I start strutting my stuff in the kitchen getting dinner. 7 - 9 watching the telly, then it's nightgown and nightcap, light a candle, and it's 'up the wooden hill' to me pit - well it would be a wooden hill if I didn't live in an apartment.

Hardly ever bored...but a trip to the course or the range is a sure remedy for any "close to bored" times.

Something about hitting a golf ball that kicks "bored" in the ass!

    Nope.

I've got 5 championship quality courses to play free. Part of my comp for work...which pays dirt.

And I have access to a virtual golf setting...although that really is not my thing.

This is the club house where I work...and a part of the 18th hole.

This is the club house of our major championship course...with the 18th green of the back 18,

I used to have an old Kindle and had some nice porn on it. If bored, I'd pull it out.

Looks nice! Top Golf is a place to go with the family. There are tons of games you play, you shoot the ball at targets, and each ball has censors in them so you can play all kinds of fun games. If you have one near you, I suggest it.

During the warmer months I'm rarely ever bored. If I get bored or have nothing else to do I'll just head out to the river or lake and go fishing. The winter months are the killers for me because I absolutely hate the cold with a passion so I stay cooped up in the house the majority of the time when I'm not at work. I spend most of my time either watching TV series or surfing the internet usually reading forums. I'll play video games every once and awhile as well.

But to be 100% honest when I'm bored during the winter months the first thing that usually pops in my mind is whether or not I consider it too early in the day to start drinking LOL

[IMG] Same here, I hate the cold with a passion too (I'm a wimp and I don't care who knows it! ): but I still go on my peregrinations during the winter months. Sometimes, when the weather forecast is a bit wrong, and the wind is stronger than predicted and with the accompanying chill factor, and I'm huddled up against it whilst walking home the dark, I think to myself 'WTF am I doing this?' It's soooooo nice to get home though - the relief is a bit like the feeling you get when you stop banging your head against a brick wall. Not that I'm in the habit of doing that - it's only when I read some of the posts on this messageboard. [IMG]
