From the Guardian: Is Finland’s basic universal income a solution to automation, fewer jobs and lower wages?

    Excerpt:
Not to mention the fact that it just might prevent crime often prompted by extended unemployment.

This idea will never take root in a Replicant administration as exists today. It nonetheless responds to a Real Need (and not only in the Europe).

It could have happened under a Hillary (PotUS) and Bernie (Secretary of Labor) AND a Dem-Congress.

    (Gimme a break! I can dream, can't I? ;^)

The Finns are hoping for the Russians to invade so they can get their economy back on track. There's snow on the ground all year they have to be the most depressed people on the planet.

the farm plow replaced 99% of the jobs on earth. Thus, tools or automation don't lead to fewer jobs or lower wages. Care to start over?

you said automation led to fewer jobs. I taught you that tools from the farm plow forward have not led to fewer jobs or lower income. Care to start over???

Finland's economy is in much better shape than Russia's.
Although had Finland been part of the Soviet Union, I'd imagine Finland would be where Estonia is now.
