Don once again appears angry at the media. This time for not reporting a story, which I assume he thought would demonstrate he was doing a good job, but in reality has nothing to do with him. Apparently the national debt went down a fraction of a percent due to accounting tallies or some such thing. Trump was angry the media did not report this. I assume he was angry because he thought he had something to do with it. However, that does not seem to be the case. Man, the president is one needy dude. How on earth will he keep that ego fed? http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...-media-failing-report-debt-decrease/98400730/ President Trump took to Twitter on Saturday morning to claim the media ignored some good news about his administration. The media has not reported that the National Debt in my first month went down by $12 billion vs a $200 billion increase in Obama first mo, he tweeted. In a follow-up tweet, he added: Great optimism for future of U.S. business, AND JOBS, with the DOW having an 11th straight record close. Big tax & regulation cuts coming! Trump didn't indicate where he got the numbers, but some of his supporters have been making the same argument. The Gateway Pundit, a far-right website, published an article Thursday citing figures from the Treasury Department that show the national debt stood at $19,947 billion the day Trump took office but fell to $19,935 billion by Feb. 21 a drop of $12 billion.
Is Donnie really comparing the terrible year of 2008 when the country was crippled, and Obama inherited a disaster, with last month? How brain-impaired does he think his followers are? Wow, just wow. Has there ever been a more needful president in this country? No, there hasn't....
Thanks for reminding us what a great job President Trump is doing! BTW, most of the time when you say billion you mean trillion.
My stance is consistent. There is virtually nothing economic worth reporting and connecting to a President, for at least three years. The President can do nothing beyond leaving some superficial and symbolic/ psychological impressions on the stock market. Talk to me about Trump's impact in about four years .
Can someone point out where Trump lashed out or appeared angry. Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
