It is no surprise that the(*)Democratic Party which founded(*)the racist hate group the Ku Klux Klan (KKK)(*)would also be the first party to support an outspoken Jew hating Muslim in Keith Ellison for the Party’s head position.
So it is also no surprise that KKK leader David Duke tweeted his support for Ellison for the DNC head post.
It’s unknown what Duke meant by “I mean, at least he knows”.
In spite of gaining the(*)support of(*)former KKK Democrat Congressman David Duke, Minnesota Muslim Congressman(*)Keith Ellison lost his bid to become the chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Saturday.
Ellison, the first Muslim elected(*)to Congress, would have been the first Muslim DNC chair.(*)(*)(*)Instead, former Obama Labor Secretary Tom Perez won the DNC chairmanship in the second round[ [http://www.npr.org/2017/02/25/51720...ce-to-begin-shortly-heres-what-to-expect].(*) Perez and Ellison were close in the first round with neither gaining enough votes to win the DNC Chair position.
After the final vote was announced protests from(*)about a dozen Keith Ellison supporters ensued, who chanted, repeatedly, “Not big money, party for the people.”(*) They were(*)shushed and over shouted as only Democrats can do.(*) Perez won the vote with 235 of the 435 votes needed to win. Ellison won the other 200.
Perez responded by appointing Ellison deputy chair of the Democratic Party, which was greeted by huge cheers, including from most in the Ellison section. He called for a motion to do so that was passed by voice vote.

Ellison accepted the new position [http://www.npr.org/2017/02/25/51720...r-race-to-begin-shortly-heres-what-to-expect] which is not in the DNC’s bylaws so it is unclear what this position would entail. It is also unclear whether Ellison will still leave Congress, which he announced he would do if he won the chair position.

Hmm, do you think the media is now camping outside their houses waiting for them to denounce Duke's support? Thank you Duke for being nonpartisan. Now we'll see how the MSM doesn't react.
Progressive Socialist Marxism, Islamo-Fascism and the Ku Klux Klan are the face of the Democrat party. That's a recipe for totalitarian tyranny. Ideology is still the same, nothing has changed but the dressing.
The viciously anti-Semitic candidate was beaten by the slightly less anti-Semitic candidate, so they had to make up a position for him on the fly to avoid a revolt. That's your Democratic Party, ladies and gentlemen.

Nothing can ameliorate the racist history of the democrat party. It continues today, in the form of anti-white comments, and that vestige of jim crow-the anti-black gun laws.

There seems to be a deep silence that has come over the DNC. IMO, the DNC just blew the next eight years in politics.

Most Stormfront people are either nuts, dumb, or trolls.

How else can you explain why so many of them support the Nazis, and Hitler who bought catastrophe to Europe?

Leftists spend a lot of time at those types of sites hoping to tie something in so they can accuse all white conservatives with it.

I have studied Robert Byrd's career though the houses of Congress. I have even met with him personally and conversed with him over the phone. IMO, Byrd was a racist from the beginning to his last day on earth. Progressives applauded and have revered his racist attitudes and bias from the beginning and even now as shown by the protective way his name is guarded.

Byrd reversed course. Those who lie about his history for their political gain have no integrity.

Zebras don't change their stripes. Byrd was true to himself and only himself. His racism was deep to the bone.

Zebras don't change their stripes, but people change their politics all the time. We're all familiar with these images of Byrd with Hillary Clinton and the fact the he was once a member of the KKK, but what is often overlooked is Byrd renounced all support for the KKK back in the 1950s (the image of him in Klan attire as an old man is a photoshop) and he endorsed Barrack Obama over Hillary Clinton early in the 2008 election, just before Hillary Clinton won the primary election in his home state. He was a Klan supporter in his 20s, and Hillary was a Republican in her 20s. People change their politics all the time

As for David Duke, he was probably referring to the accusations of anti-semitism by Keith Ellison, which is definitely not an issue neglected by the MSM

As for using David Duke's twitter to condemn political leaders.. there's a painfully obvious double standard in the reaction towards his tweets in support of a Republican politician vs a Democrat politician...

Keith Ellison has been accused of being an anti-Semite. If David Duke was expressing his fondness for Ellison, that is probably what he was referring to.

He died a civil rights leader. Calling him a KKK member is blatantly dishonest, as is the Photo shopped image you shared in order to falsely malign him.

It seems that Sen. Byrd's voting record as shown below differs with your assessment, which does not include his opposition to the 1957, and 1964 Civil Rights Acts. While his voting record after 1964 wasn't any different as recorded below.

    Robert Byrd on Civil Rights Democratic Sr Senator ... Is this a problem needing such strong medicine? ... fought long and hard to ensure that the voices of African ... Senator Byrd believed homosexuality was a sin; said he would never let his grandson, whom he adored, join a military that admitted gays;

    • Voted YES on prohibiting same-sex marriage.
    • Voted YES on banning affirmative action hiring with federal funds.
    • Voted NO on expanding hate crimes to include sexual orientation.

Dishonest????? Everyone that knows history knows Byrd was a big wheel in the KKK. Even Harry Truman was a member for a while, but I think old Harry wised up rather quickly.

He was a member when he was youngr. Then he quit and ended up joining the civil rights movement. Calling him a KKK member is like calling Trump a Hillary supporter. Hence why people rely on false Photoshop jobs.
