    Is that the story?

Or is it these folks have seen Trump in action for a month or so, and realize that they do not want to work for the guy?

Yet another Trump pick bows out, citing financial reasons, and he is not the first. With Trump unable to fill a cabinet and with literally thousands of other vacancies in his administration totally unfilled, at what point does he consider that perhaps folks simply do not want to work for him?

    http://www.cnbc.com/2017/02/27/trumps-pick-for-us-navy-secretary-withdraws.html

Trump last month nominated Philip Bilden, a private equity executive and former military intelligence officer, to lead the Navy, which the president has pledged he will expand.

In a statement on Sunday, Bilden said that "after an extensive review process, I have determined that I will not be able to satisfy the Office of Government Ethics requirements without undue disruption and materially adverse divestment of my family's private financial interests."

The development leaves Trump and Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis without nominees to head both the Navy and Army.

I can't remember a President who had such difficulty hiring and retaining appointments.

    Regards,

Did you read the article? Apparently the guy has substantial investments with defense contracting companies since he cited that it would adverse to his family to divest.

Why would he read it? He took it at face value, like socialism on paper

Right, Shirley an ambitious jerk like him loves his total oblivion and permanent exile in Ohio, while Pence is making history, implementing the Trump and republican agenda and running the world.... I bet Jerk Kasich is kicking himself every day for missing the opportunity of a lifetime, so do his wife and children.

Yeh, how could anyone turn down a chance to be associated with the God-Emperor, and have one's name go down in history as a sycophant of someone who is already being associated with the other Great Leaders of the last Century, Saddam, Stalin and the all-time favorite, Uncle Adolf. I feel sooo sorry for his family especially, forced to lead quiet lives of mere riches and privilege when they could face an exciting existence as the family of a man who assisted what will probably be the most reviled and hated figure in our history if he should accomplish even half of the nefarious schemes he threatens.

Get it through your head ******it, the Silenced Majority of Americans don't like Trump, and just because you lucked out in the arcane and silly coin toss we call the Electoral College doesn't change the real numbers of the election one little bit. Your arrogant assumption of a mandate you emphatically lack is already beginning to bite you in your benumbed butts and all your shouting of "we won, we won" isn't going to help at all in 2018 and 2020

Nah, Kasich did not expect Trump to win and wanted to run in 2020. I bet you didn't think of that but Kasich did. Now he is screwed and stuck in Cleveland, in total oblivion.

And if he didn't bow out you would be demanding he did so.

Trump derangement syndrome on display. Maybe you should take a breather from politics? Go fishing? Ride your skateboard maybe?

Edit: I like that "silenced majority" paraphrase, very creative.

He has business interests that could conflict with the job offered and you would demand he bow out or sell out just like you attempted to do with Trump.

Are you inferring he is lying?

If he had taken the job, with his business interests, would you have been okay with that?
In my opinion, you would've started several threads calling for his head on a platter.

He should run in 2020, he'll give the Republicans a better chance than they'll have with Trump (though twice zero is still zero)
