Coming to a neighborhood near you soon and this is why we must secure our border. If illegals can get across and if cartels can get drugs across then ISIS can get these modified hand grenades across too. Forget about suicide bombers, bomb sniffing dogs and metal detectors, terrorism just went high tech. Now I'd like to hear liberals defend their open borders policy.

"Islamic State has released a chilling new video showing young terrorists using killer drones that drop bombs on the battlefield.

The clip taken in the Iraqi city of Mosul shows the jihadis using the weapon for the first time during a series of explosions.

ISIS militants can be seen lining up targets and preparing to strike before launching deadly missiles towards the ground."

Whatever dramatizations this video may contain it is absolutely foolish to think that these savages wont be able to involve technology in their terrorism.

Liberals want to inundate the nation with Muslims from radical lands giving them money and access to all the technology they need to pull off attacks like this.

It will only be a matter of time before Wallahu Jr. is flying an IED into your children's school.

ISIS also posts videos of young boys slicing the necks of live captives or shooting them in the head. It's an Islamic ritual been going on for centuries.

didn't watch the video but I just asked my wife a week ago about this. Why don't they have/use drones?

I assumed it was just a matter of time considering just how widespread we use them.

Not a pleasant thought that one day they might be using them on US soil.

A highly visible threat that so far has been shown to be wildly ineffective?

    Bring it on.

When pilots first started dropping home made bombs from the cockpit of biwings it was wildly ineffective too, look how that has progressed. If and when ISIS perfects these mini bombs or even kamakazi style drones they will pose a threat impossible to guard against in crowded arenas or cities. This is something we need to pay attention to and adds reason and haste to seal our borders.

Right, so how exactly are glorified children's toys going to be made more high tech?

Obviously you didn't read the link in the OP. Both they and the ordinance they carry are on the road to high tech and will be the next terrorism tool of choice.

Why is this a story? We've been assured Muslims are safe and trustworthy.

It's a better option than blowing up yourself. I guess they won't be able to do it here since the FAA tracks drones. Yes that was sarcasm. The second sentence anyways.

Come on jam the signals or take them over or..........used small shotguns and go skeet shooting.

Home made mortars or even ultralights or rockets are must more of a threat.

i understand the concern, just note, a wall cant stop that, and a drone can be launched anywhere.

A wall can stop the explosive devices coming in that the store bought from drones need to become weaponized

And they were just a few nuts with box knives too. No way they could bring down the twin towers.

Drones are a dime a dozen in the US, its the explosives needed to weaponized them that would be smuggled in along with the attachment and release devises that ISIS is developing. IMO though just the explosive itself is all you need to fly the drone directly into the target or intended assassination victim. We need to get out in front off this.

Don't think this limited to just terrorist that can use this. With great technological breakthroughs comes humans to turn it into a nightmare. How soon will you see armed police drones that can shoot you from the sky, or how about hunters hunting from drones, or other psychos killing people from a drone

In Ukraine they have developed drones with 8 rotors that can carry an anti tank missile. They are rumored to have used these and something similar in Mosul. Still pretty cheap considering the cost of high tech UAV's. Just saying BTW, its starts with grenades and sooner or later it is this or even just an RPG would work nicely for the cost.

UAV on Steriods. Ukrainian Tactical UAV fitted with an ATGM.

So chemists and electronic to produce such weapons are only available in the middle east and not commonly available anywhere in the west?

The bombs and release mechanisms are sophisticated and ISIS is refining them as we speak. The explosives themselves whether used in a bomb or as a kamakazi style attack need to go of on impact which requires somewhat sophisticated detonators not to mention the explosive itself needs to be high grade due to the limited payload of these drones. Border security is mandatory to neutralize this threat.

Yes indeed and so is the electronic and other hardware that would be needed so why would you need to snuggle such components from the middle east?

You can make drugs here too but the smugglers still bring them in by the ton. Really sophisticated and powerful explosives though would likely need to be imported.
