Nobody's rights were denied, but the "fake news" gambit is played out unless President Trump hired you to spread his talking points, in which case, I recommend payment up front as he has a long history of stiffing his contractors.

If the President explicitly retaliated against specific organizations because their negative (but still true) press coverage, then the President violated the Constitutional protection regarding the freedom of the press.
There's a reason why the first and second amendments are in that order. An adversarial press is a cornerstone of western democracy that demands accountability of the government to the people.
