    Default BCS title game

at the end of the season, there will be either an undefeated LSU and a 1 loss Bama or an undefeated Bama and a 1 loss LSU

why shouldn't those teams be the teams in the BCS championship game?

Because assuming that Oklahoma State and/or Stanford goes unbeaten, the better matchup would be an unbeaten SEC team versus an unbeaten Pac-12 or Big 12 team.

BTW - You know if Missouri joins the SEC, we're going to have three Tigers in the SEC?

Isn't every regular season game "like a playoff game", as the BCS defenders tell us? Well, this game is like a playoff game & the loser, especially if it's Alabama(since this game is in 'Bama & they're favored) should be knocked out. Unless all that's left are one loss teams to choose from, LSU, if it loses, should be out also.
On the flip side, why should whoever wins this game be made to play the other team again? This goes especially for LSU, since they will have beaten the Tide in Alabama.

if you are talking about most of the SEC then I'd agree with you. Unfortunately there is only 1 SEC and then there are the rest of the conferences.

I fully support a playoff or tournament. There's no reason why the 2 best teams should not play each other for the championship even if they are both from the SEC West.

Wow, I did not realize they were favored. I have watched both teams play, and would have given a slight edge to LSU.

Either way, it should be an exciting game.

Danny Sheridan has Bama a 5 point favorite and 42 over/under

Or you could have the Alabama nightmare.

They beat LSU and lose to Auburn...it could happen.
The truth is neither right or left...it is the truth.
