They have a lot of injuries & historically, the Super Bowl loser from the season before struggles the following season, either during the season or in the playoffs. Now having said all that, it wouldn't surprise me if Pitt blows out the Broncos. But I'm going on a hunch (& maybe some wishful thinking). For what it's worth, I also am predicting my team, the Giants(I'm originally from Connecticut) to lose to the Falcons.
I ain't gonna take a bunch of credit for picking the Broncos to beat the Steelers, 'cause in my view, I wasn't going all that out on a limb. Like I stated, the Steelers weren't some juggernaut, an unbeatable team or something. With their injuries, the game was pretty much a toss-up, IMO.
What I will take credit for, is realizing that the game is played on the field & not on paper. Which is what anybody who understands & watches sports should realize. Also, that in sports, no animal exists called a "sure thing". Vegas was built on the backs of losers, not winners.
The Liberal three-pronged plan for re-taking the heart & mind of the American voter: 1) Any perceived act of political violence is the fault of the Tea Party, Sarah Palin and/or the like minded. 2) Any opposition to Obama policy is racism. 3) Whatever the issue/problem, it's G.W.Bush's fault. [
