I want to ask about the TV spots starting the broadcast , are they made by TV stations or there is a single one provided by the organisers?
In our TV the spot shows black people running and then a white girl is taking aim with a bow lol .

I finally had an opportunity to view a segment of the competition last evening. The women's synchronized diving event.
As I'm sure you guys know, China won the gold, USA silver, Canada bronze, and Italia coming in 4th.
The dedication/teamwork and effort is amazing (to me anyway).
My hat is off to the two Chinese girls, absolutely outstanding performance throughout. They truly deserve the gold. The Canadian girls seemed a bit off with their timing on the board unfortunately, obviously causing the synchronization to be slightly off through the dive. but I'm sure they will do better in the future.
Congrats to all of them!![]()
Cyclo-cross is the real tough cycling sport; 1 hour of cross country riding at 95% - 100% max heart rate, balls out on what amounts to a road racing bike with fatter tires.
Vos has been at the very top of CX, Road and Track her entire carreer; a cycling legend and probably the best female cyclist of all time.
We might also see her on the track this week, I'll have to check.
But if you want to watch some really exciting stuff, definately the velodrome: The Maddison and the sprinting. Watch out for Chris Hoy (Scotish); legs like tree trunks, has won pretty much everything!
If god is omnipotent and omnipresent, shouldn't we just let him deal with the gays? He seems more equiped to deal with his own business.

Did anyone see that little North Korean clean and jerk three times his body weight??? Unreal. The guy weighs 123 lbs and cleared 370. You don't see that everyday.
I just don't know. Yes, China won. But there is an argument to be made as to how their country is ran. When someone is told to dive for the state not asked, entire life is owned by the state toward the goal of being the best diver, and whole village can be killed by the state without the international community even knowing for failing to do so, the last thing you want is for them to win. It is bad enough to let them compete, you don't want to send the message that it is an acceptable formula for success. Maybe its just me. I salute the Chinese girl who spoke up, and I just hope China either embraces true freedom or goes the way of Stalin's Russia. International traders should be ashamed of their selves. For the wealth China has generated from allowing western industrialists access to their slave labor is the only reason this hasn't happened yet.*End of rant, but it needed to be said*
Funny how when one talks of trade, national borders are imaginary. When one talks of immigration, national borders are imaginary. But when one talks of expansionism and imperialism, national borders become very real.
I am Nationalist Capitalist. Labor in control of the state, with the means of production in private hands.

You may well be on to something Last Drop, I certainly wouldn't attempt to dispute your statement, as I have no in depth knowledge of life inside China.
Rather, my intent was to congratulate and recognize the accomplishment of all of the participants.
I would think, whether voluntary or under coercion, to excel at such a high level, would be rewarding for the athletes. And remains worthy of applause.
