Well sir, Bin Laden is in Pakistan. We do not have the jurisdiction to cross the border from Afghanistan into Pakistan. We can't go where we please. Those days are over with. The World's perception of America has changed.

We know it won't be the US's, since Bush isn't looking for him; and hasn't been since he got sidetracked with his optional war in Iraq.

Sigh you americans astound me with your blood thirsty nature. I certainly hope the USA does NOT capute OBL because of it. The world court should handle it, he should get a fair trial.

Terrorists are not to be sympathised with, but trust me when I say Americans are not a lot better. It's just instead of calling it an extremist attack they call it an "invasion for democracy" and have the funds to carry it out.

I hope the US captures him, but any Arab government would be far more brutal with him. Personally I think that bin Laden should be hung, drawn, and quartered.

What was his crime? I'm sorry unless you know the entire story behind what his motives were, what his intentions were and what choices he had you aren't in any place to make comments much less arguments. If the USA does proclaim him a prisoner of war (a war against terror right bush?) then give him a proper trial. Otherwise, how is the US any different from what Saddam Hussein was? Some would say they aren't.

In that case, what merit does this statment have? Just another interesting insight into this topic.

Their idea of Justice is shooting kids in a college apperantly.

As for OBL I think I'm for catching him in some bombing run some time or other.

And apparently the west's idea of democracy is killing thousands of civilians in the middle east?

I would venture to say that no one's armed forces will capture OBL.

That is because it is in no one's interest to do so.

If OBL is captured, that would suck the life out what little support remains for both the Iraqi and Afghani campaigns.

Our military-obsessed ruling class would not like that at all. Ergo, it won't happen.

Military-obsessed?

Less than 1% of the population is actively serving in the Military.

I thought you were an advocate of intelligent discussions.

It seems you are just promulgating the same tired old liberal diatribes of the

Military Industrial Complex~ Corporations are evil......schtick

I don't consider President Eisenhower (the origin of that phrase) to be some tired old liberal.

And the US record in Iraq demonstrates that the sole US military policy in Iraq is to say in Iraq. The recent Basra operation proves that entirely.
