Democrats don't care about soldiers. To the Democrats soldiers are redneck Christain country bumpkins. And they're WHITE TOO! Who likes white males anyways? They are the demon seed of the earth, right? White devils. Allot of soldiers are white devils.
What is the first thing Democrats propose cutting? Military spending, all those wonderful high-tech gadgets that save soldier's lives. So in essence, Democrats try to kill our soldiers the first change they get. Why do Democrats care how many soldiers die in Iraq? OH THEY ARE just trying to score political points with cheap shots. *smacks forehead* I should have known. |

That's what this is really about, how to play the military hand we are dealt, by prior agreements equally as much as an administration's decisions. My brother-in-law was held two months from his own return from Iraq, and had only days notice they were staying. This schtuff happens. If Uncle Sugar wanted you to own a begging-for-sympathy gene, he'd've put it in your duffel bag back at boot camp. You just go and do. And if you're lucky you get back again, in the case of the Iraq troops, that means doing far, far more good than our media is willing to relate. Ernie Pyle would puke in his helmet at the likes of Geraldo Rivera.

I'd have to say it's worse not getting home at all. I've known many families who dealt with a year's deployment. At least now they have the internet to stay in touch better. A shame though. Notice the hero MOMs. My son has been gone (not to a war zone) since May and I can hardly breathe. Those MOMs are awesome.
