Default Al Qaeda attacks another strong supporter of Israel

http://www.boston.com/news/world/afr...trike_algeria/

I mean after all, so many left and right wing extremists claim that their attacks against the US are because of our support for Israel. So that means Algiers is another country, like Egypt and Indonesia, which have experienced terrorist attacks due to Israeli support. Right?

Default It suits both parties for the name Al Qaeda to be used.

Apart from the fact that's the terrorists mentioned are not Al Qaeda.

But as has been said on other threads Al Qaeda's ideology has spread with Bush's lack of attention in Afghanistan lending kudos to the name Al Qaeda.

Now an old terrorist organisation the organisation, previously known as the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC), has affiliated itself with the name of Al Qaeda.

The Algerian government is using the Name Al Qaeda to invoke hostility to do as the US and make a few crackdowns on it's citizens under the cover of the name Al Qaeda.

The motives reported are not anti Israel but anti foreign forces. The group has since claimed responsibility, under its new name, for a number of deadly bombings targeting security forces and foreigners.

It suits both parties for the name Al Qaeda to be used. But it doesn't make it true.

They pledged allegiance to Osama. They pledged further attacks in their name. That, by definition, makes them Al Qaeda.

People don't seem to get the fact that AQ these days is a brand name, not an organization. They're not led or organized by people from the central office in Pakistan.

Default ...

Pffft....if we didn't have G.W. Bush as president this would've never happened.
....
or wait
...

Rebellion...you're a xenophobic, racist, islamophobe. These are just oppressed people expressing themselves.

There...that was easier.

Default A better name

Hey, put away your thesaurus fella. If everyone is so upset by giving terrorists a generic name such as Al Qaeda, then let's just call them by their real name, Muslims!!!

Default And

Oppressed people expressing themselves? With what, bombs? That is some form of expression. I guess King and Gandhi did die in vain. So bomb/expression works how?
