Default Bitter Vengeance on the American Taliban

Bitter Vengeance on the American Taliban

"To some extent he was tainted by association with Osama bin Laden, whom he met briefly in the course of his training. This meeting was curious in itself. US intelligence agencies have always claimed that al-Qaedas virtually impervious to penetration, yet an impoverished young American student was apparently able to enter an 'al-Qaeda training camp' with no difficulty whatsoever.”

Come on, that's just stupid. AQ would love to get their hands on some more of those "articulate Americans" who actually believe in the cause -

I mean, they're a PR gold mine, right?

Sure - think about it. If you were going to try to penetrate AQ, that would certainly be the "low hanging fruit" in terms of your legend, right? Boy, I sure feel sorry for the Little Drummer Boy that has to somehow survive that one though (mentally, I mean) -

'Cause you know, they make you kill someone before they'll really trust you - that's kinda how it works, and I'm sure that's certainly the way it works when it comes to Americans -

But yeah, kinda makes you wonder where Bushie's head is at, doesn't it? I mean, in my left hand, I hold a single individual and a "reasonable chance" of getting to the guy I want - and in my right hand, I hold a pipe dream and three billion dollars a week....

Hmm..... let's see..... right hand.... left hand.... right hand.... left hand.....

Left hand wins. Save the 3 billion a week, it ain't doing any good anyway. Go after the "head", if you get the guy at the top then it'll be an unmistakable victory and a symbol of superiority, and the radicals respond to that kind of thing - they respect power, and they respect strength. They're not (generally speaking) stupid enough to go up against something they know to be a brick wall.

But yeah - the issue for this thread, is that the guy is a US citizen, right?
