Because most countries don't intervene in a lot of countries affairs and (*)(*)(*)(*) them off. It's call blowback or unintended consequences. A lot of people warned about it long before 9/11.

That's like asking why you smack an ant when it bites you instead of smacking your head.

We are the ones who disposed of their leaders, we are the ones with armies on their holy land, we are the ones who have minipulated their governments. Switzerland, has done none of these things.

We indirectly created Al Qaeda (from the 'freedom fighters' at the end of the Cold War, Afghanistan), and now we are trying to destroy them. Understand?
