Sure, the iranian regime has proven themselves extremely rational after all, what with denying the holocaust ever happened, declaring their intention to wipe Israel off the map, supporting hezbollah and hamas who target Americans for murder and call for the destruction of the USA...

Clearly, they are far too reasonable to arm another enemy of the USA and the world.

They keep finding Iranian weapons in Iraq, so it appears they are helping someone. Is it Al Qaeda? I certainly don't know. Who do they detest more, Sunni extemists or American troops right next door? I don't know that either!

What you have is an AQ guy claiming, with no evidence, that Iran is supporting them.

Could it be true? Yes.

Is there any evidence it's true? No.

Does the AQ guy in question have a huge incentive to lie about such a thing? Yes.

By any objective measure, skepticism is called for.

Its just one of many pieces of evidence. The strongest evidence is the entire pattern, of which this fits perfectly. As for AQ being highly motivated to get iran in trouble with the USA, I find it absurd. I see no evidence iran has any big problems with AQ and in fact there is plenty more evidence of their involvement with them, though it is not conclusive, yet.

Be skeptical all you want. iran is escalating their jihad and will get caught red handed soon and I am confident W isn't going to believe you appeasers anyway and will end their evil regardless.
