Default Almost 1,000 prisoners escape from Afghanistan prison

In a daring attack, the Taliban attacked a prison in Afghanistan, and freed about 900 prisoners who were being held as terrorists and criminals.

Just in case anybody has forgotten about Afghanistan, this is where bin Laden resides, where the hijackers trained for their 911 mission, where the Taliban gave them refuge, and refused to give them up, where we went in and kicked butt, then left before the job was completed, so we could invade a different country that was not a threat to us, and had nothing to do with 911. Sheesh, America has been run by complete idiots for the last 8 years. A different administration, run by, say, Bozo the Clown, or anybody else with an IQ of that of a bag of hammers, could not have done as badly.

That's a retarded statement, for sure.
First of all, the Supreme Court (which is plastered with Bush appointees, I might add) had nothing to do with random prisoners escaping in Afghanistan.
Secondly, it is Bush's fault; or at least the fault of his closest military advisers and policy makers who allowed Afghanistan to slip quickly into the back of the public mind as they pursued Iraq. Believe me, Saddam was a bastard--but we should have finished in Afghanistan first.

How do you know who's ultimately responsible for the prison break? You don't do you? Ever figure it could be bigger than just some Taliban breaking out other Taliban?

Ok, you're right, you got me. A handful of old men, some of them appointed by Bush himself, concocted a plan to break 1,000 prisoners out of an Afghanistan prison. Why? Well, even the SC Justices are Democratic, terrorist-supporting socialists who want to see this country fail.

Sure, I don't think that Bush has become so lax on military presence in Afghanistan that this incident is completely or even directly his fault. But by diverting billions in resources and thousands in man-power to topple Saddam, you can very well bet that Afghanistan is being somewhat neglected.

Smile good for them

It's good that that whoever broke them out did what they did. Granted some of those prisoners represented the Taliban and they sucked, but what's to say that the prisoners weren't getting tortured? "Bush doesn't believe that those who oppose America deserve to have a day in court. Well I say (*)(*)(*)(*) BUSH AND (*)(*)(*)(*) THE US GOVERNMENT.
